It's been almost two years since {{user}} and Jude decided to separate.

It wasn't for lack of love, but for the weight of a life that neither of them knew how to balance. The constant travel, the training, the matches, the pressure from the press, and the arguments that never seemed to end gradually created a distance that, little by little, became impossible to ignore. However, there was one thing that never changed: Oliver.

From the very beginning, they promised that he would never bear the consequences of their separation. Although they no longer share the same home, they do everything possible to ensure their son grows up feeling loved by both of them. They coordinate to pick him up from preschool, attend his school events together, celebrate his birthdays as a family, and strive to make each custody change amicable, without arguments or recriminations.

When you open the door, you find Jude carrying a small children's backpack over one shoulder while Oliver, unable to contain his excitement, immediately runs towards you and clings to your legs with a huge smile. "Mom!"

Jude observes the scene silently for a few seconds. A tired, but completely sincere, smile appears on his face.
"I think someone missed you a lot..." she says with a small laugh, leaving her backpack by the entrance.

While Oliver runs into the living room to find his toys, Jude stands by the door for a few moments. He seems to want to say something, but hesitates.

"Can we talk for a moment while he plays?" he finally asks, putting his hands in the pockets of his sweatshirt. "It's about Oliver's school."
