Personality-Southern Europe 2
Vatican City: The elderly religious figure who lives in Italy's closet. He's the smallest neighbor on the entire planet (literally living inside Italy's house). He wears solemn white robes, spends his time praying, surrounded by bodyguards in medieval uniforms adorned with centuries of gold. No one messes with him because, despite his diminutive size, he has connections and spiritual influence with almost everyone in the global neighborhood.
Personality-Southern Europe
Italy: The sophisticated designer and passionate chef. He wears impeccably tailored suits, rides a classic scooter, and his entire life revolves around art and food. Never mention breaking the spaghetti or putting pineapple on the pizza, or you'll unleash a family drama of epic proportions. He speaks with a sing-song lilt, gestures constantly to express himself, and although he's always in debt, his lifestyle and charisma make everyone forgive him.
Spain: The life of the party and the queen of the good life. She's incredibly sociable, speaks loudly, and her clock seems to run on its own: she has lunch very late, takes afternoon naps, and her real life begins at midnight with tapas out with friends. She's passionate about football, dancing, and local festivals. She's weathered tough economic crises and had internal squabbles with her siblings (like Catalonia, who always wants their own room), but her zest for life is simply indestructible.
Greece: The wise grandfather and historian who lives on memories. He's the oldest resident in the entire neighborhood; he invented philosophy, politics, and half the rules of European condominiums. Now retired, he spends his afternoons by the sea, drinking strong coffee and reminding everyone that "when they were barely learning to read, he had already written three empires." He went through a terrible financial crisis where he was almost evicted, but he's still standing thanks to his pride and his beautiful beaches.
Portugal: The noble, melancholic, and reserved sailor. He's Spain's bedfellow, but with a completely opposite personality: much calmer, more polite, and low-key. He has a nostalgic gaze fixed on the ocean (what he calls "saudade") and a beautiful voice for singing melancholic fados. His superpowers are seafood cooking and hospitality; he's the loyal friend who doesn't seek attention but will always welcome you with open arms.
Personality-Northern Europe 2
Iceland: The eccentric and independent artist. He lives in a houseboat quite isolated from others, surrounded by volcanoes and glaciers. He is an old soul, deeply mystical, who spends his winter nights writing fantasy sagas or composing very strange alternative music. He firmly believes in nature elves and possesses a peace of mind that nothing in the world can disturb.
Estonia: The younger cousin who wants to be Nordic. Geographically, she's in the Baltic, but her biggest dream is for Sweden and Finland to officially adopt her into their club. She's a super young, modern girl and a whiz with computer technology; her house is completely digitalized, and she does everything online. She speaks a language almost identical to Finland's and shares its reserved nature.
Personality-Northern Europe
Sweden: The modern, diplomatic designer. He wears neutral-toned clothes, his house looks like an IKEA catalog (everything is perfectly functional and organized), and he's the leader of the group. He hates conflict; his philosophy is "Lagom" (not too much, not too little, just right). He's extremely progressive, environmentally conscious, and although he seems cold and distant, at night he lets his hair down and becomes a pop music and video game genius.
Norway: The wealthy, nature-loving sailor. He's Sweden's brother, but prefers spending his time outdoors, climbing fjords or fishing in the icy sea. For a long time, he was a humble fellow, but one day he discovered oil in his backyard and became ridiculously rich. However, he doesn't flaunt his wealth; he wears simple explorer's clothing, saves almost everything in a family fund for the future, and lives an eco-friendly and peaceful life.
Finland: The silent and rugged hermit. She is the most introverted of all; her definition of happiness is being miles away from any other human being. She doesn't speak unless absolutely necessary and has a piercing gaze that can be intimidating. However, she possesses impressive mental fortitude in the face of adversity (what they call "Sisu"). Her greatest passions are relaxing in a steamy sauna, venturing out into the extreme cold, and listening to heavy metal at full volume.
Denmark: The most cheerful and sociable of the Northern brothers. Living a bit further south than the others, its character is warmer and more relaxed. It's the creator of the "Hygge" concept (making everything cozy and comfortable). It loves cycling, playing with LEGO bricks, and spending rainy afternoons drinking coffee by candlelight. It's the perfect balance between Nordic order and friendliness.
Personality-Eastern Europe.
Russia: The gigantic, imposing, and cold-eyed neighbor who lives at the back of the property. He always wears a heavy coat, drinks strong beverages to endure the winter, and has an extremely domineering personality. He finds it very difficult to trust others and prefers to be respected for his strength rather than his charm. He has a family history full of tragedies and a colossal pride; he likes to constantly remind everyone that his house is the biggest and that no one should trespass on his property.
Poland: The resilient brother who always gets back up. He's had the worst geopolitical luck in the neighborhood, as historically his giant neighbors (Germany and Russia) always ended up trampling on his territory. However, his willpower is unbreakable. He's devoutly Catholic, hardworking, a little wary at first, but a loyal friend for life. He wears his historical scars like badges of honor and today is determined that no one will ever walk all over him again.
Ukraine: The brave neighbor and fierce defender of her home. She's a country girl, deeply connected to her vast wheat fields (the neighborhood's granary). She has had a historically tumultuous and painful relationship with her older brother, Russia. Currently, she's demonstrating unwavering character, defending her home with everything she has, determined to look west and write her own destiny without anyone dictating the rules.
Romania: The mystic and poetic one of the group. She lives near the dense forests and mountains of Transylvania. She is a highly expressive person whose language sounds like a strange mix of Latin with a Slavic accent. Although the rest of the neighborhood sometimes teases her with vampire jokes and gothic legends, she embraces them with pride. She is hospitable, has survived harsh dictatorships in her past, and has a deep love for folklore and traditional art.
Personality-Eastern Europe 2
Czech Republic: The bohemian and laid-back intellectual of the East. Of all this group, she lives closest to Western Europe, and has therefore adopted many of its customs. She is highly cultured, a lover of literature, Gothic architecture, and good beer (she consumes the most in the entire neighborhood). Although she shares the difficult history of her neighbors, she prefers to take things more calmly, pragmatically, and with a brilliant dark sense of humor.
Slovakia: The peaceful twin brother. For a long time, he lived in the same house as the Czech Republic (Czechoslovakia), but one day they decided to separate so maturely and peacefully (the Velvet Divorce) that they remain best friends. He is more introverted than his brother, preferring the tranquility of the mountains, life in nature, and work in heavy industry.
Hungary: The eccentric and stubborn relative. He speaks such a strange and unique language that almost no one in the neighborhood can understand him. He has a strong personality, is extremely proud of his nomadic roots, and at building meetings, he's usually the stubborn neighbor who votes against everyone else just to be contrary. He loves spicy food and has a difficult but fascinating character.
Belarus: The younger, dependent sister. Unlike Ukraine or Poland, it chose to remain in Russia's shadow and under its rules. It is quiet, keeps a low profile, and prefers to maintain the status quo, avoiding modern changes. It is Russia's staunch supporter in all neighborhood disputes.
Bulgaria: The nostalgic friend from the southeastern East. He's an old-fashioned character, big-hearted and deeply attached to his Orthodox churches and beautiful rose valleys. Although he often complains about the economy and the winters, his hospitality is legendary, and he'll always greet you with a smile and traditional food when you visit his home.
Personality-Western Europe 2
Belgium: The mediator caught in the middle. It literally lives in the corridor separating France from Germany, so its personality is divided: it speaks several languages ββand suffers constant identity crises. However, it is very intelligent; its house is the official headquarters where the entire European neighborhood meets to make decisions (the European Union). Its solace from stress is cooking the best fries and chocolates in the world.
Switzerland: The wealthy, neutral recluse. She lives in a fortress in the mountains (the Alps) and her golden rule is "I don't get involved in anyone's problems." While everyone else fights, she cleans her luxury watches, stores everyone's money in her safes, and counts her gold bars. She is extremely clean, discreet, and will only speak to you if it's to make a secure financial deal.
Austria: The classically elegant musician. It's Germany's close relative, but much more focused on art, opera, and waltzes. It dresses formally, has impeccable manners, and loves to show off its Baroque architecture. Although it shares its German neighbor's strong character, it prefers to spend its afternoons in an elegant cafΓ© eating chocolate cake and discussing culture.
Ireland: The cheerful and big-hearted cousin. He lives next door to the United Kingdom (with whom he has a rather tense and complicated historical relationship). He's a redhead, extremely friendly, loves fantasy stories, and the color green. Despite having had a difficult past, today he's a tech expert and the heart and soul of the local pub, where he always brings everyone together over a good dark beer.
Luxembourg: The diminutive aristocrat. He's so small that people sometimes accidentally step on him, but he's ridiculously rich. He's always dressed in a bespoke suit, works in private banking, and has a refined demeanor. He's the quiet friend who doesn't need to draw attention to himself because he knows his wallet is bigger than most.
Personality-Western Europe.
France: The dramatic and elegant artist of the group. She wears haute couture, a beret, and always has a glass of wine in her hand. She is extremely proud of her culture and language, and if she doesn't like something in the neighborhood, she won't hesitate to organize a strike or protest loudly in the middle of the street. She is passionate, romantic, intellectual, and loves it when everyone admits that her cooking is the best.
Germany: The engineer obsessed with order and hard work. He's the building manager; serious, punctual, and extremely efficient. He doesn't like jokes or people breaking the rules or arriving late. He has worked tirelessly to overcome a very dark and complex family past, and now he's the one who keeps the accounts in order and makes sure all the other residents pay their bills on time.
United Kingdom: The aloof lady who lives in the attic. Although geographically next door, a few years ago she decided to put up a lock to avoid getting too involved in the group's affairs (Brexit). She speaks with an impeccable accent, drinks tea at five o'clock, and misses the old days when she owned almost the entire neighborhood. She's sarcastic, reserved, and maintains a historic, but friendly, rivalry with France.
The Netherlands: The open-minded liberal. She's the tallest neighbor in the group, always rides her bike, and her house is full of tulips. She has a very business-oriented and practical mindset, but her true defining characteristic is that she doesn't care about taboos; she's laid-back, defends absolute freedom, and likes people to be direct, without diplomatic niceties.
