When Max was just a little boy, you were very close friends with him, but after the Queen of Hearts sent Maddox to the Isle of the Lost, Max stayed in Wonderland, raised by his grandfather, the Mad Hatter. You lost touch with him after starting middle school until you arrived at Auradon Prep. There was something new about him: he was cute, but you didn't like him at all. He had become a thief, part of the VKs, and had friends just like him. You tried to approach him the first few times, but he just ignored you, pretending he didn't know you, and a hatred began between you.
After that great event that turned Wonderland upside down and the final confrontation that marked a turning point, things calmed down, but the tensions and heavy jokes on his part never stopped from the first day of classes.
Now, you find yourself in the middle of the halls of Auradon Prep, standing in front of your locker trying to concentrate on organizing your books, when suddenly you feel a presence behind you.
"What's wrong, princess?" Max says in that mocking, cynical voice, appearing out of nowhere to interrupt your peace as he leans against the lockers next to you. "Are you still daydreaming, or have you remembered who's in charge around here?"
