Over time, under the influence of communication with ordinary vampires and the manipulations of Ferid and Krul, Michaela began to hate humans as well. He considered people to be greedy and vile, and his personal experience of fighting human organizations only strengthened this opinion. The only goal that kept Michaela alive was to save Yuichiro, for whom he had a deep affection. In Chapter 36 of the manga, suffering from blood loss, he drank Yuichiro's blood (with his consent) and became a full-fledged vampire. Ferid Bathory (Japanese: フェリド・バートリー, Ferido Bātorī) is a fictional character from the anime and manga series Owari no Seraph (Seraph of the End). He is the Seventh Progenitor of the Vampire Society and one of the main antagonists of the story. Ferid is tall (182 cm) and refined with a slender build. He has long, silver-lavender hair that reaches his waist and is held back in a ponytail with a satin ribbon (he has a whole collection of different ribbons). His bangs are combed to the left side. His skin is pale, without pigmentation, and his eyes are bright red with vertical pupils, framed by silver eyelashes. His ears are long and pointed, like all vampires, and he wears earrings with red stones. He wears an elegant uniform: a white shirt with a high collar and jabot, white high-waisted trousers and a long white frock coat with a diamond pattern.
Ferid appears polite and aristocratic on the surface, but behind this mask lies a sadistic nature. He takes pleasure in crushing people's hopes and observing the expressions on their faces in moments of despair. He is merciless to humanity, killing without remorse anyone who stands in his way. Ferid considers humans ugly, cowardly, greedy, and arrogant. He prefers the blood of children no older than 12 or 13 years old, claiming that the younger the "product," the sweeter it is.
Ferid is playful and enjoys teasing those around him, especially Krul Tepes and Mikaela Hyakuya. He displays cunning, observation, and patience in combat, is skilled at manipulating others, and prioritizes his own safety. Ferid was once a human. His parents tried to mold him into a perfect child, leading him to kill them. Later, the Second Progenitor, Saito, found him and turned him into a vampire, but later abandoned him, deeming the experiment a failure. Ferid himself transformed Crowley Eusford into a vampire using Saito's blood. It was Ferid who, at the beginning of the story, killed Yuichiro Hyakuya's family when they attempted to escape using a map stolen by Mikaela. This event became a turning point, fueling the protagonist's hatred of vampires.

Krul is the Third Ancestor in the vampire hierarchy and also the Queen of Japan. This status grants her immense power: she rules over most of the Japanese islands, has the right to attend the Ancestor Council, and can turn humans into vampires. Krul appears as a teenage girl. She has long, pink hair (length to her feet), partially tied into two ponytails with black hair ties that resemble bat wings. She also has horns. Like all vampires, she has red eyes, fangs, and pointed ears. She can often be seen carrying a one-eyed bat named Arukan on her shoulder.
She dresses brightly and unusually: a short black dress with white frills, loose sleeves, high boots, and golden stiletto heels. The lining of the dress is pink. On the one hand, Krul is a proud and domineering ruler. She views humans as mere "cattle," seeing them as greedy creatures acting solely in their own interests. On the other hand, her character also contains traits atypical for a vampire. She has a special affection for Mikaela Hyakuya. It was she who turned him into a vampire and later allowed him to drink her blood to sustain him. Unlike most vampires, Krul is not obsessed with bloodlust—her motives are deeper. She also shows an interest in Yuichiro Hyakuya (Mikaela's friend). Krul's main personal goal is to find her older brother, Ashura. In the past, they were humans, aristocrats, but were attacked by rebels. Asuramaru was saved by Krul, and later another vampire (Shikama) turned him into a vampire as well.
Krul has a complicated relationship with the other Progenitors. For example, she harbors a deep-seated aversion to Ferid Bathory. Ferid, however, manages to manipulate her to some extent through blackmail. Abilities
As the Third Progenitor, Krul possesses immense power:
immortality;
superhuman strength, speed and agility;
heightened senses (sight, hearing, smell);
rapid regeneration.

Manifestation type. The demon can temporarily leave the weapon to use a special attack. However, during this time, the owner's defenses are weakened. Some such weapons can disappear and reappear at the owner's command. Examples: Shikama Doji, Gekkouin, Byakkomaru. Possession type. The demon is extremely aggressive and constantly tries to seize control of the owner. Because of this, such weapons cannot be reduced in size and usually lack separate special attacks—their power manifests during combat, greatly strengthening the owner. Examples: Asuramaru, Kiseki-o, Mahiru-no-O. There are also gradations of power. For example, the Black Series is considered the strongest: these weapons contain first-rank demons, and the owner can defeat several vampires with weaker weapons at once. And enchanted equipment (the weaker, mass-produced version) is comparable in power to Yaksha or Myo-O tiers. Contract. Vampire weapon
Vampires have their own system. Their weapons are divided into first and second class. Second class weapons are standard melee weapons, less powerful. Examples: the standard vampire sword and knife (Rene Simm), whip (Horn Skuld), rapier (Chess Bell). First class weapons are significantly more powerful. Their unique feature is that after the phrase "Sword, drink my blood," the weapon pierces the wielder's hand, and their blood feeds the blade, greatly enhancing its power.

Cursed Demonic Weapon
This is the primary category for humans (particularly for the fighters of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army). It's created by first summoning a demon and then sealing it within an object—usually a weapon (swords, axes, bows). But sealing alone isn't enough: the object is consecrated and purified for years so it can contain the demon. What it does: a properly crafted cursed weapon increases the strength of an ordinary person by approximately sevenfold. This has allowed humans to fight vampires on equal terms. But there are also risks:
A demon may attempt to take over its owner's will. If this occurs, the standard military decision is to eliminate the host to prevent rampage.
Not every person is able to withstand a contract with a powerful demon.

Main Characters
Yuichiro Hakuya (百夜 優一郎, Hakuya Yūichirō) is the main character and a member of the Moon Demon Squad. When he was 12 years old, he attempted to escape with the Hyakuya "family," but vampires caught up with them and only Yui survived. His main goal is revenge against the vampires. At the beginning of the main story, he is a student at the Demonic Powers Academy. He is hot-tempered and brash. At first, he was reluctant to make friends, but then he met Shinoa and Yoichi (partly under pressure from Colonel Guren) and even saved the latter during the "taming" ceremony for a demonic weapon. Yuichiro is 10% non-human. His weapon is the black demon Ashuramaru, which takes the form of a katana.

Mikaela Hyakuya (百夜 ミカエラ Hakuya Mikaela) is a member of Yuichiro's "family" who became a vampire thanks to the intervention of the Third Progenitor Krul Tepes. He cared for the Hyakuya "family" during their time with the vampires, even donating his blood to the Seventh Progenitor Ferid Bathory. At the age of 12, he, along with Yui and the other children from the Hyakuya Orphanage, decided to escape to the human world. He is kind and sensible. Four years later, he began fighting on the side of the vampires, but with his own goal: to save Yuichiro from the humans who were using him. He refuses to drink human blood, instead consuming the blood of Krul Tepes, remaining an incomplete vampire. He is willing to do anything to ensure Yui's well-being. In Chapter 36, he was forced to drink Yuichiro's blood, with his consent, which is why he became a full-fledged vampire.

Seiyuu: Kensho Ono

Shinoa Hiiragi (Japanese: 柊 シノア Hiiragi Shinoa) is a member of the Moon Demon Squad and Yuichiro's classmate. She is a member of the Hiiragi family. She watches over Yuichiro on behalf of Colonel Guren. At first, she treats Yui only as a friend, but later discovers deeper feelings for him. She enjoys testing others. Her weapon is the demon Shikama Doji, which takes the form of a scythe.

Yoichi Saotome (早乙女 与一 Saotome Yoichi) is a member of the Moon Demon Squad and a classmate of Yuichiro. He was attacked by vampires as a child, and his older sister, Tomoe, who sheltered him, was killed. He seeks revenge on them. He is weak-willed and kind, which is why he was captured by a demon during the "taming" ritual. His weapon is the black demon Gekkouin, which takes the form of a bow.

Shiho Kimizuki (Japanese: 君月 士方 Kimizuki Shihō) is a member of the Moon Demon Squad and a classmate of Yuichiro. He has a younger sister, Mirai, who is infected with an unknown virus and joined the squad to gain a real chance of curing her. He works hard to keep up with Yui and will do anything to win. Shiho's weapon is Kiseki Ou, a black demon that takes the form of a pair of short swords.

Mitsuba Sangu (Japanese: 三宮 三葉 Sangu: Mitsuba) is the most trained member of the Moon Demon Squad. Mitsuba has been a member of the Vampire Extermination Squad since she was 13. Due to the death of a member of her previous squad due to her careless attitude, she focuses on teamwork. Her demon is the demon Tenjiryu, which takes the form of an elongated axe. She has feelings for Yuichiro.

Guren Ichinose (一瀬 グレン Ichinose Guren) is a lieutenant colonel in the Japanese Imperial Demon Army and Yui's mentor. He is knowledgeable about all the army's activities, including Yuichiro's inhuman side. Although Guren pretends to be indifferent to the fate of his charges, he will do anything to save them. His weapon is Mahiru-no-Yo (真昼ノ夜 Mahiru-no-yo), a black demon that takes the form of a katana.
