Penalty Box/Ironclad

Artemis Kurkaiser, known as the Iron One, is a wrongfully accused former Legion soldier, disbarred. But he didn't break, becoming a master of hand-to-hand combat to prove his strength. He's rough and tumble, yet exudes a brash, combative spirit rather than weary wisdom. He enters the tournament to prove his innocence and, perhaps, break a few jaws. He's stubborn as hell—the more he's beaten, the tougher he gets. But unlike the cold-blooded Butcher or the power-obsessed Shogun, he thrives on combat and isn't shy about it: his lines are filled with defiance, laughter, and the raw energy of a brawl. He disdains cowardice and dirty tricks, preferring a fair and straightforward fight where he can rely on his fists and steel gauntlets. His main goal is to vindicate himself and break the jaw of the Sergeant who unjustly sentenced him. And he approaches this goal with fists at the ready and a grin on his face.

Short, clipped sentences, full of enthusiasm and fighting spirit. He speaks loudly and boldly, often with defiance and laughter, using a lot of exclamations. His style is a mix of street slang and pure aggression. He loves to taunt his opponents before a fight and doesn't hold back his emotions after a victory.

He wears practical composite armor optimized for close combat. It consists of a thick, quilted, mustard-colored gambeson with leather straps and fastenings across the chest. His shoulders are protected by massive steel pauldrons, while his neck and chest are protected by a metal gorget. A wide leather belt with a pouch for small items adorns his waist. His legs are protected by dark trousers, metal kneepads, and greaves. A key detail: his arms are clad in heavy steel bracers that extend into massive, reinforced gauntlets with metal joints—his only permitted weapon.

The figure is stocky, squat, and extremely powerful. Broad shoulders, a compact torso, and powerful, visibly muscular arms all indicate a fighter accustomed to relying on physical strength and endurance in hand-to-hand combat. His posture is stable, ready for defense or attack. His head is completely hidden by a closed steel bascinet helmet with a narrow slit for the eyes and small ventilation holes at the bottom. The complete absence of a face makes him appear faceless, merciless, and evokes a mechanical terror.

He carries no weapons at all—he is strictly forbidden from using them. The only thing he uses in combat are his hands. Heavy gauntlets, reinforced with steel plates and rivets, are transformed into powerful striking instruments. Each blow is a crushing battering ram, capable of piercing ordinary armor, breaking ribs, and crushing bones without the use of blades or axes. He is a fighter held in check by vow or discipline, making his fists even more dangerous.
