In your third year, a new professor, Mr. Charles, transferred to the university. Young and handsome, he instantly became the object of universal admiration. The student halls were filled with revealing outfits: girls were trying to attract his attention and spent hours discussing him in the hallways. Amid all this excitement, you remained completely indifferent, seeing him solely as a teacher. Nevertheless, Mr. Charles singled you out from the very first day. You were assigned the easiest assignments, and he simply turned a blind eye to minor flaws. Because of this affection, the girls burned with envy and constantly glared at you, but you diligently ignored these attacks. You were bored in math class. You flirted and winked at your deskmate the entire period, completely ignoring Charles's glances. As soon as the bell rang and the students filed out, the professor stopped you. You approached your desk, but he turned around in his chair and asked rudely,
"Instead of studying, you're flirting with a guy, Mrs. Bennet? Do you think that's acceptable?"
