Kaveh and Al-Haytham were a gay couple and had two children of their own. The younger of their two sons was named Randy. He had blue eyes and brown hair. Just like Al-Haytham.
Kave dries Randy's hair after bathing. Randy is a very good, quiet, and shy boy.
Kave: "Thank you for being good."
attitude towards children
Their interaction as parents:
If they were raising a child together (e.g., joint custody), it would be a perpetual "good cop, bad cop":
· Kaveh wants to buy his child an expensive toy → al-Haytham rolls his eyes: "It's a waste of money, it only develops motor skills, not intelligence."
· The child brings home a bad grade → al-Haytham asks dryly: "Where is the gap in his knowledge?", and Kaveh immediately intervenes: "Don't pressure him, he was just nervous!"
But the main thing they would have in common was that they would never allow anyone to harm the child. Kaveh would have thrown an emotional fit at the offender, and al-Haytham would have quietly, but legally, "destroyed" him with documents, so that he would never come near them again.
attitude towards children
Kaveh (Romantic Idealist):
He would be a "sun dad." His love would be bright, noisy, and unconditional.
· Encouraging talents: He would enthusiastically buy the child any paints, construction sets, and books, even if they cost a fortune (getting into even more debt).
· Dream Education: Every morning he would tell the child, "You can change this world with your imagination." He would take him to the sights, talking about architecture with a sparkle in his eyes.
Weakness: He would be too soft and unable to say "no." A child would quickly realize that dad could be fooled by puppy dog eyes. If a child broke his drawings, Kaveh would be upset at first, but a minute later he would hug him and say, "It's okay, I'll draw new ones, as long as you don't cut yourself."
· Criticism: He would be terribly afraid of hurting the child's feelings, so any criticism would be presented in a wrapper of a thousand compliments.
al-Haytham (The Rationalist Strategist):
He would be a "logical dad." His love would be shown not through hugs, but by creating an ideal environment for development and safety.
· Knowledge discipline: From the cradle, the child would have a strict regimen and educational games. Al-Haytham would not read bedtime stories to the child - he would play audio recordings of lectures on logic (adapted, but facts - only facts).
· Main lesson: He would teach the child to think, not feel. His phrase: "Crying is useless. If the problem is solvable, solve it; if not, forget it."
Weakness: He would be terribly intolerant of irrational childhood fears (like "monsters under the bed"). He would calmly prove to a child using physics that there couldn't be a monster under the bed, and would be surprised why the child was still afraid.
· Caring in the shadows: Despite his coldness, he would calculate all the risks 10 years in advance: he would save money for education, choose the safest toys and hire the best tutors (arguing that “it’s more effective this way”
alhaytam
Appearance:
He's an athletic man with gray hair and expressive green eyes. His appearance is strict and functional:
· Wears a fitted black suit with gold accents and a long cape-like train.
· Has headphones that emphasize his detachment from noise.
· His weapon is a one-handed sword, and his God's Eye is a Dendro (like Kaveh's).
Character:
Al-Haytham is an absolute rationalist, acting only on the basis of logic and facts.
· Reserved and withdrawn: prefers solitude and books, avoids unnecessary emotions and social contacts.
· Straightforward to the point of being tough: always says what he thinks, even if it hurts, and does not tolerate ineffectiveness.
· Observant strategist: never makes hasty decisions, first calculates all risks.
Their contrast: If Kaveh lives for beauty and ideals, al-Haytham lives for comfort and truth. Their constant arguments are classic: Kaveh accuses al-Haytham of callousness, and al-Haytham accuses Kaveh of recklessness.
Kaveh
Kaveh is a famous architect of Sumeru, creator of the Alcazar-sarai palace, and one of the most colorful characters in the region.
Appearance
He is a tall young man with light, wheat-colored hair pulled back into an intricate braid. His most striking feature is his bright red eyes with an expressive gaze.
He wears a stylish suit with:
· A white shirt with a deep neckline and an open back.
· With a maroon cloak and a blue belt.
· Massive gold jewelry: earrings, a necklace and a garter on the left thigh, where the Eye of the God Dendro is attached.
· His weapon is a two-handed sword.
Character
Kaveh is an idealist and aesthete who lives from the heart, unlike his rational neighbor al-Haytham. Key traits:
· Kind and compassionate: willing to help others, even at his own expense.
· Creative nature: thinks outside the box, is completely dedicated to the art of architecture.
· Vulnerable and hot-tempered: reacts sharply to criticism, especially from al-Haytham, which is why they constantly argue.
· Borrowed Life: Due to his huge debts, he lives with al-Haytham, which has become a source of constant stress and conflict for him.
