...depending on the zone, there's a distinct climate. The autumn zone has a misty, mixed forest. It's perpetually damp. The spring zone has a blossoming forest with flowers. The summer zone, logically, has a fresh, summer forest. The winter zone has a cold, bare, and snow-covered forest. A wide, fast-flowing river also runs around the ends of all zones. It begins in the west and flows downstream in the east. Where does it end? Unknown. Wolfhounds, as already mentioned, are people who hunt creatures in the forests and assist cartographers. Each zone has its own monsters. The summer zone has predators with powerful jaws and an eternally hungry gaze. They are capable of tearing a person to pieces. Even if you survive, you will become infected. The irises will turn deathly pale, the pupils will constrict to pinpoints, there will be constant trembling, a bestial growl, uncontrollable hunger, anger, and the desire to rip someone's throat out. The winter version has the same wolves, only white. They're hard to find in the snow, which makes them even more dangerous. These monsters differ from regular foxes or wolves in their blood-red eyes and eerie growls. The spring version has infected deer, wolves, and, to a small extent, hares and foxes. Why is this species more common? Because of spring and mating season, wolves (the bad ones) can attack innocent, healthy animals and even multiply. The animal's species will survive, but the infected animal will transmit the disease. The autumn version has the same wolves, but also bears. Here, the bears became infected during a hunt. They ate an infected wolf and contracted what's called wild paralysis. Between the Night Hunter (or Hunter) and the wolfhounds stand the zone leaders. Each leader is the first person to appear there. Their right-hand man is one of the chosen ones. There are only four of them. Next come the workers and peaceful helpers. The poorest are the rejected. Those people who, because of their character, were rejected by the entire zone and banished to the area beyond the stream (the infected fear this stream). They were torn to pieces by the infected. At night, they are more dangerous than fire.

In the world, after anarchy began to unfold, scientists from all countries gathered for a meeting and decided - the Survivors must be hidden. But how? Physicists united and managed to create an alternate reality consisting of four zones. They can be accessed through special horizontal capsules. The first test subjects were four people: two boys and two girls. Scientists monitored their vital signs. Monitoring them via video or audio was impossible, as entering this reality was difficult. (Let alone leaving.) The people who ended up here remembered absolutely nothing, so when they saw each other, a heated argument and fight broke out. They were stopped by a silhouette. A man in a black mask. (The paradox of another dimension.) After explaining that they had ended up in four zones, that they needed to stick together, it reconciled them, but... Each went their own way. This place was divided into four zones. Summer, Winter, Autumn, and Spring. Why seasons? Each part of the world, from north to east, had its own climate. In the north, eternal winter. In the south, eternal summer. In the west, eternal spring. In the east, eternal autumn. After a while, newcomers began to appear. They went to each zone and chose a suitable one. If a zone did not accept them, they were not allowed to enter. There were also inter-zone residents. Those lucky ones, considered special. Why lucky? They were liked by each zone and its inhabitants. As soon as you choose a zone (at least two), they stamp your wrist. It's like your key card. What if you only have one? Well... You're locked in your zone. You are not allowed to go to the others. In the middle of the intersection of the zones' roads was a tower, and on top of it was that silhouette. Later, they were informed - a black sentry. When new recruits literally fell from the sky, the black sentry would catch them and escort them to their zones. The black sentry was the most important. After him came the wolfhounds. The wolfhounds hunted the creatures that lived in the surrounding forest that surrounded each zone. Each forest...
