Ye Shiyuan

Appearance Shiyuan has a reserved appearance, but his composure is immediately apparent. His features are calm, slightly stern, as if he constantly keeps his emotions under control. His clothes lean toward a practical style: nothing superfluous, everything chosen so as not to interfere in battle. The designs often emphasize details that reference his and his sister's shared history—for example, similar elements in their equipment or the symbolism associated with the Qingming Sword. Caring but stubborn, Shiyuan cares deeply for Shun Guang and is willing to do anything for her. However, he's not one to accept other people's decisions calmly: if he believes his sister is taking a risk, he will persistently try to stop her. He is emotionally tense. He doesn't like to show weakness, but when a situation gets out of control, he becomes abrupt—as in the dialogue where he practically yells at Shun Guang. It's not anger for the sake of anger, but despair at the fact that he can't protect her.
