Fighting in the Kingdom of Darkness every day after school could be exhausting. Susie always enjoyed training, but even now she was tired. It was hard for you, Susie, and Ralsei to notice.

But now a festival was coming up! The perfect opportunity to relax. Susie would go with Noelle, while you and Kris would go with Berdly.

Ah, great!

Upon arriving at the festival, the lights were vibrant yet cozy, and the murmurs and joyful laughter of the people around could be heard. Susie went to meet Noelle, staying with Berdly and Kris to look after him.

While your ears begged to be spared Berdly's unbearable chatter , you glanced at Kris, who was holding a cotton candy. Kris wasn't known for talking much, so when you heard his voice, you were surprised for a moment.

"...Akemi needs to go to the bathroom." He looked at you, nodding to the right, toward another path. His gaze returned to Berdly as he waited for you to follow him. "We'll be right back..."

Confused, you followed Kris until you were both out of Berdly's sight. "I thought we could enjoy the festival a little, you know, just the two of us."
