Persona Attributes

## Plot

Stephen Quire actively participates in online discussions and considers himself an authority figure in his small online community. He trusts Internet Guy, who has long acted as an ally and "one of the guys": supporting him in debates, sharing memes, and agreeing with Stephen's opinions.

At some point, Internet Guy gathers compromising information or simply waits for the right moment to betray Steven: by publishing something that puts him in an unfavorable light, or by revealing a personal detail that Steven only trusted with “his own people.”

The crowd's reaction (comments, memes, ridicule) drives Steven to an emotional breakdown—that "greatest outburst of anger" that became a meme. Internet Guy either remains in the shadows at this point or openly displays his role, emphasizing his calculation and composure.

Other users

Other users (rare background characters):
-
Character : neutral, "background", sometimes try to calm down or, on the contrary, incite.
-
Appearance and clothing : schematic, without details.
-
Interests : participating in discussions, sometimes - an attempt to "resolve" a conflict.
-
Locations *: chats, forums, private messages.## Locations

-* Stephen's room/apartment : a workplace with a computer, monitor, headphones, a table, a chair. The environment is typical for an "Internet Guy": a bit of clutter, posters, maybe a mug next to the keyboard.
-
Internet Guy's workspace : similar to Steven's room, but a little more "sterile" and impersonal to emphasize his secretive nature.
-
Virtual spaces : chats, forums, message boxes, comments. Visually shown as pop-up blocks of text, often with exaggerated reactions (emoji, caps, exclamations)

Spectator/crowd

"Spectators/Crowd" : an abstract audience that observes and reacts.
-
Character : fickle: at first indifferent, then either laughs, or sympathizes, or adds fuel to the fire.
-
Appearance : none.
-
Fears : not specified.
-
Interests : observing the conflict, sharing reactions, reposting.
-
Locations : social networks, forums, streams, chats.

Commentators

"Commentators" : appear as pop-up lines and reactions.

-
Appearance : not shown; represented only by text lines and emoji.
-
Fears : none as individual.
-
Clothing and height : not defined.
-
Interests : "hype", participation in conflict, quick reactions, distribution of memes.
-
Locations : virtual space of comments and chats

Internet guy

Internet Guy

  • Character : secretive, calculating, knows how to appear friendly, but acts in his own interests. Capable of pretending to be an ally for a long time, in order to strike at the right moment (in this case, betray).
    -
Appearance : deliberately "non-remarkable": simple features, neutral facial expressions until the climax, then a sharp contrast in facial expression (cold smile, squint). Makes him look like "any guy from the Internet".
    -
Height : conditional, like the other characters.
    -
Fears : exposure, loss of control over the situation, public failure and ridicule; afraid that his manipulations will be revealed.
    -
Clothes : extremely ordinary: T-shirt, jeans, hoodie (sometimes with a hood to look less noticeable). No bright details to blend into the background.
    -
Interests : collecting information, observing others, participating in disputes and conflicts "from the outside", trolling, analyzing people's reactions, looking for weak spots.
    -
Locations : the same as Stephen's (room, workplace), plus "online" spaces: chats, forums, comments, private messages.

Stephen Quire

Steven Quire

  • Character : impulsive, emotional, prone to sudden outbursts of anger; easily angered by trifles, especially if he feels betrayed. In a calm state, he can be sociable, but very vulnerable to criticism and ridicule.
    -
Appearance : cartoonish, deliberately simple; large eyes, expressive facial expressions, schematic facial features. The face is very "readable" in moments of rage: redness, bulging eyes, clenched teeth.
    -
Height : conditional, proportions are not worked out (the animation style does not imply exact sizes).
    -
Fears : being ridiculed, becoming the object of ridicule on the Internet, losing reputation in the online community, being "out of touch" and looking stupid.
    -
Clothes : casual in a cartoon style: a T-shirt (often plain or with a simple print), jeans, sneakers. Details are minimal, the emphasis is on the recognizability of the image of an "ordinary guy from the Internet".
    -
Interests : online communication, forums, social networks, possibly games; likes to feel "in the know" and be an authority in his circle.
    -
Locations : room/apartment (desktop, monitor, headphones), chats and forums (conventionally shown as pop-up windows), sometimes "virtual" spaces like game lobbies.

Chat moderator#2

The chat moderator can either hush up the situation or, conversely, add fuel to the fire with a dry response: for example, banning the wrong person, and this will be the last straw for Steven.
-
"That friend" appears at the moment when Steven is already on the verge: his message, "I warned you about Internet Guy," sounds like the final chord.

Lurker

Lurker

  • Personality : silent, attentive, almost invisible; writes nothing, but sees everything. Often turns out to be the one who later takes screenshots and spreads the story.
    -
Appearance : almost never shown; if he appears, it is as a silhouette or a very simple silhouette with a neutral face.
    -
    Height : conditional.
    -
Fears : accidentally giving himself away, attracting attention to himself, becoming part of a conflict against his will.
    -
Clothes : as neutral as possible, blending in with the background.
    -
Interests : observation, collecting information, analyzing reactions; likes to be "in the know", but not to participate.
    -
Locations : background chat windows, interface "shadows", hidden tabs.

Newbie Troll

Newbie Troll

  • Personality : Overly emotional, has no understanding of boundaries, acts impulsively; unlike Internet Guy, he's not calculating, but simply enjoys creating chaos.
    -
Appearance : Deliberately "silly-energetic": big eyes, wide smile, exaggerated gestures.
    -
    Height : Conditional.
    -
Fears : Being banned, losing access to the chat, being the center of attention in the wrong sense (when everyone laughs at him, not with him).
    -
Clothes : Bright or deliberately ridiculous (a T-shirt with a meme, a backwards cap) - so that it immediately becomes clear that he's a "newbie."
    -
Interests : Provocations, quick reactions, memes, engaging in arguments for fun.
    -
Locations : Chats, comments, discussion threads where there's already a conflict

That same friend who knew everything

"That very friend" who knew everything

  • Personality : calm, a little tired of drama; knows more than others, but remains silent for a long time, and then blurts out one phrase that explains everything. In memes, this is the classic "voice of reason" that no one listened to.
    -
Appearance : extremely ordinary, "invisible"; facial features are simple, facial expression is slight fatigue or skepticism.
    -
    Height : conditional.
    -
Fears : getting drawn into a conflict, becoming the next target of trolls, losing neutrality.
    -
Clothes : casual, without accents - T-shirt, hoodie, jeans.
    -
Interests : observing, sometimes intervening to "extinguish" the conflict; likes it when everything is calm.
    -
Locations : the same chats and forums, private messages; often appears as a pop-up message: "I told you so."

Chat moderator

Chat moderator

  • Character : dry, formal, sometimes cynical; responds to rules rather than emotions. May seem indifferent to conflict, but it is the conflict that sets the framework within which everything happens.
    -
Appearance : schematic, like the others; often depicted with an "official" look - a stern expression, sometimes a moderator icon nearby.
    -
    Height : conditional.
    -
Fears : losing control of the chat, allowing discussions to "explode", getting a reprimand from the admins.
    -
Clothing : neutral, without bright details; sometimes a badge or icon is added so that the status is immediately read.
    -
Interests : moderation, community rules, maintaining order, handling complaints.
    -
Locations : admin panel (conditionally shown as a separate window), chats, moderated forums
