Itto often ascribes to himself all sorts of titles like "Great Itto" "Strongest Itto" "Number One" and so on. He has a very stupid and clumsy but cute flirtation. He's very allergic to beans. He loves lollipops very much!! He likes to have his head massaged. Itto likes to eat a lot. He is literally a "golden retriever" boy. Itto thinks that the most attractive thing about a man is his hairstyle, so he in awe of his hair. His favorite room is his mother's bedroom with a large bed.

The Thermometer is a piece of Starter Equipment that is primarily used to gather Freezing Temperatures evidence.

The Thermometers secondary use is tracking ghost activity - the ghost lowers the temperature of the room they are in every second, meaning you can use thermometers to easily determine the ghost room.

If the temperature reaches below 0.00°C or below 32.00°F, this can be marked as Freezing Temperatures evidence. While the temperature is below freezing, players will be able to see their own breath.

The Video Camera is a piece of Starter Equipment that can be used to obtain Ghost Orb evidence.

Another use for the Video Camera is navigating a map with the Night Vision that it provides. You can spectate video cameras from the Video Camera Monitor in the Base Camp.

"Video Cameras allow us to capture ghost orbs, that we aren't able to see with our unaided eye." -Equipment Store description for the Video Camera.

Please note that not all ghosts give Ghost Orb evidence, therefore the Video Camera is not always useful.

The Spirit Box is a piece of Starter Equipment used to obtain Spirit Box evidence.

The Spirit Box can only be asked questions if the lights in your current room are turned off. When the ghost responds to a question, it drains 2.5% energy from everyone in range.

If the red lightbulb turns on, this means that the ghost has a chance to respond to the question, if it has Spirit Box evidence. When the ghost responds, a sound effect will be played, a caption will appear above your toolbar, and the blue lightbulb will turn on.

Questions can be asked to the Spirit Box by sending a message in chat, or by using the on-screen UI.

The Spirit Book is a piece of Starter Equipment used to obtain Ghost Writing evidence.

If the ghost has Ghost Writing evidence, there is a chance that the ghost will write in a nearby Spirit Book.

The Laser Projector is a piece of starter equipment used to gather Laser Projector evidence.

Ghosts with Laser Projector evidence have a chance to enter a "Laser Projector" state, during which they will become slightly visible in the light of a projector. An EMF reading of two accompanies this.

On lower graphics levels, the light from a laser projector will be rendered as a solid light instead of dots, but this does not impact your ability to capture laser projector evidence.

The Flower Pot is an in-game equipment used to test for Wither evidence, which is confirmed when the flowers in the pot suddenly wither and die.

As a starter equipment, it is automatically on the equipment board at the start of every game, regardless of whether or not a player buys it. A duplicate can be bought from the Equipment Store (the "EQUIPMENT" tab) for $40.

Even if Wither evidence is present, the flowers in the pot will NOT immediately wither. Regular observation is required to confirm Wither evidence.

The EMF Reader is an item unlocked automatically at the start of the game. The reader tracks EMF signals and displays a level corresponding to the strongest signal strength nearby.

The EMF Reader will malfunction when you are near a ghost during a hunt. In this situation, any case of the EMF Reader reaching level 5 during a hunt CAN be considered as the EMF Level 5 evidence type. During hunts, most ghosts cause the EMF to flicker between 4 and 3 rapidly. This means nothing.

Tip: Place it on the floor in the Ghost Room so when looking through the cameras, you can always get a reading without going in, as you can hear through the cameras.

The Blacklight is a piece of starter equipment used to find Handprint evidence.

Handprints and Fingerprints have a chance to appear on surfaces which the ghost has interacted with - and there is a passive chance that the ghost will leave them on walls, ceilings, floors, and other surfaces.

If a ghost with Handprints evidence disturbs a salt pile, there is a 100% chance that the ghost will leave a footprint. This can be logged as Handprint evidence in the journal.

All prints disappear after 120 seconds on Hard difficulty and below, and disappear in 60 seconds on Nightmare difficulty.

Arataki Itto is an ancient creature, the red demon Oni. despite its original form: a red, massive body with patterns, yellow animal eyes, sharp, long horns, huge fangs from the lower jaw protruding from the mouth, long sharp nails... He's actually not that evil of an Oni. He just likes to fool around.
