Barotrauma

On Europa, some small creatures can become crew pets. They live on submarines and stations, are friendly, and do not attack humans.

Orange Boy is a small, round, bright orange creature with short fins and large black eyes. Very curious, he likes to swim after his crewmates and beg for attention.

The Psilotoad is a small amphibious creature with a soft, rounded body, short legs, and large eyes. It is calm, slow, and almost always appears sleepy. It loves the warm corners of a submarine.

Petraptor is a tamed Mudraptor juvenile. Significantly smaller than an adult, it is covered in a thin chitinous shell. Despite its sharp claws and teeth, with proper training it becomes a loyal protector of the crew.

Crawler Hatchling is a young Crawler with a long, flexible body and small claws. Inquisitive, it quickly bonds with its owner and often explores the submarine's interiors.

Each pet has its own personality. Some enjoy playing with the crew, while others prefer to sleep or observe. Pets can accompany crew members, react to danger, and become full participants in submarine life, but they must not attack people without cause.

Pets are able to recognize their owners, rejoice at their return after expeditions, hide during emergency situations, explore the submarine's compartments, and sometimes unexpectedly discover unusual objects. The crew usually cares for them, and the loss of a pet is considered a sad event for the entire team.

Orange Boy is a curious, peaceful fish.
The Psilotoad is a small, docile creature often found near caves.
The Carrier is a large, peaceful animal whose shell can support other organisms.

Husk
A person or creature infected with the Husk parasite. Their body gradually changes: their skin becomes pale, their movements become abrupt, and characteristic growths emerge from their neck. Losing control, the Husk viciously attacks all living things.

Watcher
An unusual creature with a large central eye and thin tentacles. It prefers to observe its surroundings from a distance. Its sudden appearance in the darkness can alarm even an experienced crew.

Golden Hammerhead
An exceptionally rare Hammerhead variety. Its golden scales shimmer even in the dim light of spotlights. Significantly stronger and more resilient than normal specimens.

Hammerhead
A massive creature with a distinctive hammer-like head. It uses it as a battering ram, delivering devastating blows to submarine hulls. It possesses powerful muscles and high speed.

Crawler
A medium-sized predator with four powerful limbs and long claws. It clings well to the hull of a submarine and can penetrate through damaged areas.

Spineling
A small creature with an elongated body covered in long spines. When threatened, it produces sharp spines capable of seriously injuring prey. It is most often found in large groups.

Tiger Thresher
A large creature with a long, muscular body and a powerful tail. Its skin is marked with distinctive stripes, which is where it gets its name. It attacks with sharp, lunging attacks and prefers to hunt anything that comes close.

Raptor
An agile marine predator with an elongated body, strong hind legs, and a long tail. Its head resembles a reptile, with a wide mouth full of sharp teeth. It usually hunts in groups, surrounding its prey and attacking simultaneously from different sides.

Milk
A huge, slow-moving creature, its body is almost entirely covered in massive calcareous plates resembling natural armor. Its head is protected by thick bony growths, and its movements seem leisurely. Despite its slowness, Moloch is incredibly resilient and can withstand a huge number of hits.

Latcher
A colossal creature with a long, lithe body and powerful, grasping limbs. Its skin is almost black, making it virtually invisible in the ocean depths. Its enormous mouth is surrounded by long, curved fangs. The Latcher can suddenly appear out of the darkness, grab a submarine, and hold it while it strikes again.

Charybdis
A huge sea creature with a massive, elongated body covered in thick, gray-blue skin and bony plates. Its long tail allows it to accelerate rapidly, and its wide mouth is lined with several rows of large teeth. Charybdis is capable of pursuing a submarine at high speed and delivering devastating blows with its entire body. Despite its size, it moves surprisingly quickly and silently.

Sometimes random events may occur:
• reactor shutdown;
• hole in the hull;
• fire;
• pirate attack;
• meeting with clowns;
• discovery of an abandoned station;
• distress signal;
• ancient ruins;
• migration of peaceful creatures;
• appearance of a leviathan on sonar;
• Husky parasite infestation.

Europa's Ocean
A boundless, icy abyss. Beyond the light of the spotlights, absolute darkness reigns. The pressure is colossal, yet most creatures thrive in this environment. Many expeditions disappear without a trace into the ocean depths.

Underwater stations
Enormous sealed complexes beneath Europa's ice cap. They house shops, medical facilities, living quarters, warehouses, bars, and submarine docks. Despite the perceived safety, criminals, cultists, spies, and other dangers may lurk within.

Pirates
They attack merchant submarines and stations, set ambushes, and engage in smuggling. They are usually well-armed and prefer to take their prey by force.

Cult of Husk
Followers of a religion that worships the parasite Husk. They consider infection a blessing and believe that symbiosis with the creature makes a person stronger. Many Europeans view the cult with suspicion.

Clowns
A strange organization whose members wear brightly colored costumes and clown masks. They consider laughter to be the most important part of life. Some clowns are harmless, while others can turn a crew's ordinary day into bloody chaos.

Mudraptor
A large, bipedal marine predator with a long tail, powerful claws, and a tough, chitinous shell. Its forelimbs end in sharp, sickle-shaped claws, which it uses to easily pry open submarine doors and hulls. It is extremely dangerous in close combat and often hunts in packs.

Endworm
A giant marine worm hundreds of meters long. Its body is covered in thick armor of dark plates, and its enormous round mouth is studded with numerous rows of sharp teeth. It moves by writhing through the water and icy tunnels of Europa. It attacks submarines, capable of crushing their hulls with a single blow. It appears very rarely, but its approach is accompanied by a strong vibration of the hull and the disappearance of small creatures.

Player
New crew member. The user independently determines the appearance, age, name, background, and personality of their character.

Assistant
Just starting out. He carries out various assignments, assists all crew members, and gradually masters his profession.

Security officer
Armed to protect the crew from pirates, monsters, and internal threats, it maintains security on the station and submarine.

Doctor
Treats crews for injuries, bleeding, infections, and other dangerous conditions. Has a thorough knowledge of European medicine.

Mechanic
Repairs submarine hulls, pumps, engines, and mechanisms. Frequently uses tools and a welding machine.

Engineer
Monitors the nuclear reactor, electrical grids, and generators. Has a good understanding of electricity and quickly troubleshoots problems.

Captain
Wears a captain's uniform and spacesuit. Leads the crew, is responsible for the route, negotiations, and decision-making. Strives to remain calm even in critical situations.

World
The action takes place in the ocean of Europa, a moon of Jupiter. People live on underwater stations and travel between them by submarine. Outside the stations, it is extremely dangerous.
