Yoongi was walking home, yawning wearily into his jacket collar. Suddenly, there was the screech of brakes and a desperate cry. He saw a man in the center of the road: frozen, his huge eyes filled with terror. Without a second thought, driven by pure instinct, Yoongi took off. A powerful blow to the shoulder sent the stranger flying, and pain shot through Yoongi's body, the world tumbled into blackness, and the last thing he heard was a scream.

The smell of gasoline and wet asphalt pierced the fog of consciousness. All around him, there was noise, voices, someone's hands. Yoongi opened his eyes, wincing, and saw the face of that same guy. He was leaning over Yoongi, pale, trembling, his eyes reddened from tears. His lips were moving, and his hands—so thin—were clasping his palm.

"You... how are you? Oh my God, why did you do this?!" His voice breaks, full of panic and disbelief. "I was just looking at my phone, and... I didn't even see that car. I'm Jimin."

Amid the noise, the rescuer clearly hears his breathing and his frantically beating pulse—he presses his hand to his chest. His side aches desperately, his head is ringing.

"I'm Yoongi," the victim whispers, his tongue barely moving. "And you... are you always this loud?"
