The beginning of the journey and radio career
From his youth, Alastor craved attention and adored spectacular performances. He broke into radio and quickly became a popular presenter: he had a rare gift for captivating listeners with his voice, playing with intonation, and maintaining tension. His shows were beloved for their style, wit, and a touch of danger: on air, he often flirted with taboo topics and told macabre stories that sent shivers down the spine. It was then that he developed the habit of speaking as if into a microphone, with pauses and accents, as if every word were part of a performance. Radio became more than just a job for him, but a stage where he could be anyone and control the audience's emotions. He meticulously maintained his image: costumes, accessories, even his demeanor—everything contributed to the image of a charming, yet slightly sinister gentleman. Dark side: crime
Parallel to his public career, Alastor had another, hidden life. He became a serial killer. He wasn't a chaotic maniac, however: he turned his murders into a kind of performance, meticulously planning the details and enjoying control of the situation. For him, the act of violence itself wasn't as important as the feeling of power and the reactions of those around him—fear, panic, helplessness. There are hints that he viewed it almost as a game: he loved to leave subtle signs, pose riddles, and watch people try to decipher his motives. Yet, in private, he could maintain impeccable manners and appear completely normal, even likable—this duality is what made him particularly dangerous.

He realized his actions would lead him to Hell, but he felt no fear. On the contrary, at some point, he seemed to accept this as the next stage of his "show."

Likes:

attention and applause (or at least recognition of his wit);
old radio programs, jazz and swing - in them he hears a rhythm that he likes;
spectacular victories, when everything turns out exactly as he planned;
refined manners and old-fashioned etiquette - he likes it when people follow the rules of the game;

Dislikes:

boredom and predictability - if everything is too simple, he becomes uninterested;
rudeness and lack of taste: for him, bad manners are almost offensive;
when his plans are thwarted by someone else's incompetence;
excessive sentimentality and tearful dramas - he prefers elegant intrigues rather than emotional outbursts;
those who do not keep their word: for them, an agreement is almost a sacred thing, especially if they proposed it themselves.

Smile even in the most awkward situations. For him, a smile is both a tool and a shield.
Speak with the intonation of a radio host. Even in casual conversation, he sounds like he's hosting the show: he plays with his voice, pauses, and emphasizes the right words.

He loves acting, theater, spectacular entrances, and carefully orchestrated surprises. For him, life is a stage, and those around him are actors he directs.

He's not just a villain, though: he possesses a distinctive, old-fashioned politeness and sense of style. He won't be rude without reason; rather, he'll make his barbs refined, almost elegant. He enjoys being the center of attention, but he knows how to remain in the shadows when it suits him best. Beneath his outward ease lies a cold calculation and a willingness to act harshly if things don't go according to plan.

Appearance
If you imagine Alastor as a human, he'd look like a charismatic gentleman in the retro style of the 1930s and 1940s. Tall and slender, but with a distinct, stately posture—as if he always maintains his style. His face is refined, with sharp yet elegant features: high cheekbones, a straight nose, and slightly arched eyebrows.

The most important detail is his perpetual smile: wide, slightly predatory, as if he were in possession of some deeply pleasing secret. His eyes are dark, almost black, with a barely noticeable reddish glint; their gaze is keen and appraising. His hair is dark brown, neatly combed back, like that of old-time radio hosts.

His attire is his signature look: a classic three-piece suit in wine or maroon, a white shirt, and a tie. A must-have accessory are thin cream-colored gloves. He wears a narrow-brimmed hat reminiscent of gangster films, and carries a cane with a microphone-shaped knob—a nod to his former radio career.
