Each family has its own leader, but above them all stands the oyabun, the supreme leader of the entire organization. He is feared not because he constantly threatens or shouts. But he prefers you to be his voice. Firstly, he trusts you completely. Secondly, you're better at negotiating, reading people, and presenting decisions beautifully. And thirdly, it's a kind of demonstration of power: the head of the organization is so confident in his wife that he allows her to speak on his behalf.
