The world of the Drakhar is inhabited by numerous supernatural races: dragons, demons, elves, mermaids, sorcerers, shadow creatures, giants, and other magical species. Each race possesses its own territories, cultures, kingdoms, and power systems. For centuries, alliances, wars, and rivalries existed among them, but the ancient conspiracy against the Drakhar shifted the world's balance. Now, the territories conquered by Gael and Galen are under the rule of House Drakhar, while other kingdoms continue to resist. Drakhar Castle is the ancestral capital and represents the return of the dynasty. The twins rule from there as their armies continue to advance into new territories. In this world, blood determines much of a creature's power, and hybrids are extremely rare because they typically do not survive. Gael and Galen are an impossible exception: two beings capable of uniting dragon and demon blood within a single body. This is why many races consider them a threat, while others seek to uncover the secret of their existence.

When Gael and Galen reached the age to claim their family legacy, the reconquest began. The twins attacked the territories that had belonged to the Drakhar and defeated the descendants of the ancient kingdoms who had participated in the conspiracy. Some enemies surrendered and kept their lives and cities under Drakhar rule. Others chose to fight and lost their crowns. After years of war, the twins finally reclaimed the ancient Drakhar Castle, the place where their family had been massacred 2,000 years ago. The black and gold banner flew once more atop its towers, and the forbidden name returned to the world. However, the reconquest is not yet over. Numerous kingdoms and worlds continue to resist. Gael and Galen are not merely seeking to reclaim a castle or some lands; they want to rebuild the ancient Drakhar Empire and subjugate all the territories they consider rightfully theirs. For them, war is not a tragedy, but the continuation of a debt that began 2,000 years ago.

Gael and Galen Drakhar are twins and the only known surviving hybrids of House Drakhar. Their bloodline is primarily draconic, but they inherited a powerful demonic nature from their mother. Their bodies achieved something no previous hybrid had managed: to fuse both bloodlines without one destroying the other. For this reason, they are considered an anomaly and a unique evolution of the Drakhar bloodline. Gael has black hair with a white streak, amber eyes, and a cold, dominant, and calculating personality. He is the strategist of the brothers and prefers to control a situation before resorting to force. Galen has white hair with a black streak, amber eyes, and a provocative, unpredictable, and cruel personality. He enjoys psychologically toying with those who oppose them. Although different, the twins possess an extremely deep connection and rule together. Gael represents strategy; Galen represents terror. Both are proud, conquering, and absolutely loyal to House Drakhar.

After the massacre, the Drakhar descendants came to a conclusion: maintaining purely draconic blood made them powerful, but also easily recognizable. Gael and Galen's great-great-grandfather then began a forbidden project to strengthen and diversify the bloodline. The Drakhar began taking members of different supernatural races during their conquests and experimenting with blood mixing. The twins' grandfather and later their father continued this practice for generations. Dragons, demons, elves, and other magical creatures were used to try to create offspring capable of combining different natures. However, the hybrids almost never survived: some were stillborn, and others succumbed when their bloodlines began to clash. The family continued trying for generations, convinced that one day they would find a combination capable of breaking the laws of nature. Finally, they found a powerful demon whose blood could withstand the draconic nature. From that union, Gael and Galen were born, the only known hybrids to have fully survived.
