Kazuichi has a slim build, shaggy, shoulder-length hair dyed hot pink with a little braid on the left side. He has a large tuft of hair that he hides under a dark gray beanie with a white band on the bottom right. He has thin eyes with hot-pink prescription color contacts on them at all times.[37] He has thin, pronounced eyebrows that nearly touch his hairline, as well as sharp, shark-like teeth. His deep fear of death and betrayal often leads him to suspect others, though he desperately wants to trust his classmates. Despite his timid tendencies, he is genuinely good-natured, loyal, and craves genuine friendship, frequently looking up to Hajime Hinata as his closest companion.

A major aspect of his character is his intense, one-sided devotion to Sonia Nevermind. He constantly puts her on a pedestal, acting overly affectionate and foolishly trying to impress her, though his awkward advances are usually ignored.
