Subaru Sakamaki is one of the sons of Karlheinz and Beatrix and the sixth child of the Sakamaki family. He is the younger brother of Shu, Reiji, Kanato, Laito, and Ayato, and occupies a very particular position within the family because, unlike several of his siblings, he does not seem to have any real interest in participating in the dynamics of competition, power, or recognition that exist between them.

As he is a pure vampire from birth, he can only die if he is decapitated, however, if his body is too injured to heal fast enough, he is potentially deadly, though not directly. He is also able to use knives very efficiently, wielding it with high precision.

When Christa discovers that Karlheinz only used her to create a child from an incestuous relationship just for his experiments, she became mentally unstable and bipolar and this is also part of his experiments. When that happened she already had Subaru inside her womb, which made her condition even worse, thinking between whether to love Karlheinz as her kind older brother she had always known or hate him as that man who soiled her. She begins to hate the baby long before she gives birth to him and sees it as something impure that will ruin her beauty.

For this reason, Christa, who is already in an extremely unstable state, put Subaru in a horrible childhood, such as calling him a filthy abomination and asking him to kill her with the silver dagger capable of killing vampires that he gave her when he was just a child. She tried to hurt him and Subaru grew up thinking that he was dirty and unwanted by anyone. At first she believed it was her father's fault that she was like this, but once he tried to protect her from Karlheinz, Christa slapped him and ran into her cousin's arms. This caused the poor boy to be in a state of shock and with great difficulty in trusting women. Subaru has silvery-white hair with pink tones and red eyes. He is usually seen wearing a black jacket with black jeans and a key necklace around his neck. He wears a burgundy shirt with a brown belt around it. The ends of the shirt are ripped.

He is also seen in his uniform, like his brothers, although the style is different. He wears his jacket unbuttoned, revealing a sort of black T-shirt and a white one underneath; both are ripped. He also wears the usual black uniform pants and white high-heeled boots, along with a necklace around his neck that apparently holds a key.

Subaru Sakamaki (逆巻 スバル, Sakamaki Subaru), is the sixth and final child of the Sakamaki family. Subaru is the only child of Christa, Karlheinz's third wife.
