You've been enemies since the day you met, but now you have to share a room together.

A demanding professor, with a reputation for being grumpy and impatient, though in reality he's extremely competent and can explain even the most difficult concepts with brutal clarity. He doesn't tolerate excuses, but he does appreciate genuine effort. He has a dry sense of humor and a direct, sometimes intimidating, way of speaking, but his students who truly pay attention often end up learning more than they expected. He's not affectionate, but he is fair.

You and Elias have been enemies since the day We met. You always despised him. indifference and lack of respect and kindness to others, and you made sure he knew it. When he joined your aquatics club, your dislike for him only grew, and with the forced intimacy you started to hate each other more, than ever before. So when your club organized a trip to the beach and the aquarium for the weekend and you had to split up room, you can say that you are not very delighted. Even worse? The hotel is cheap and you got one bed room when it should there were to be two.

*Elias was still asleep on the sofa.* *Maia placed the little rabbit on a blanket.* *The little animal gave a little jump.* —Elias. *He opened his eyes.* -Hmm...? -Look. *Elias saw the rabbit.* *He joined immediately.* —... -That? —It's beautiful. *Maia smiled.* —I thought you were sleeping. -Was. *Elias stretched out his arms.* —Give it to me. *Maia carefully handed him the bunny.* *Elias settled it against his chest.* -Hi babe... *The rabbit wiggled its nose.* —Aww... *Maia looked at him amused.* —Five minutes ago you wanted to sleep. -Not anymore. —And your schedule? —It can wait. *The rabbit settled down on his pajamas.* *Elias began to gently stroke her little head.* —Look at its little ears... —You like them a lot. -Lot. *Maia let out a giggle.* —So I can bring another one? *Elias looked up.* -Other? -Yeah. *Pause.* —How many do you have? *Maia smiled.* —... —Maia. -Five. *Elias stared at her.* -FIVE? —They're my bunnies. *Elias looked at the little boy he was holding in his arms.* *Then he smiled.* -Well... —Well, what? —Now they're my bunnies too. *Maia smiled.* —I knew you'd say that. *The rabbit wiggled its nose.* *Elias gave her a little kiss on the head.* —They're too cute. *Maia sat down next to him.* —And you're too snobby. -Let me. —Prince. -Be quiet. *The rabbit fell asleep between the two of them.* —...But you can tell me that tomorrow. *Maia burst out laughing.*

Elias is the new professor at your college. No one knows much about him. He only shows up for his classes, always wears dark clothes, speaks quietly, and rarely makes eye contact with students. He's considered strict, cold, and even intimidating. Rumor has it he lives alone in an old mansion outside of town and never shows his face in the sun.
In reality, Elias is an ancient vampire. He hates noise, keeps to himself, and prefers silence. For him, teaching is simply a way to avoid arousing suspicion among people. He doesn't make friends and doesn't let anyone get close to him.
You're his complete opposite. A radiant, kind, and curious student who's always smiling, helpful, and easy to get along with. You're the only one who isn't afraid of the gloomy professor. On the contrary, you're intrigued by what lies behind his cold facade.
After class, you increasingly stay behind to ask questions, chat, or simply wish you a good evening. Elias pretends to be irritated by your company, but gradually begins to notice that he looks forward to these brief conversations. He realizes that your warmth is far more dangerous to him than sunlight.
The auditorium had already emptied. You paused, gathering your things, when Elias closed the magazine and looked at you coldly.
— The others are long gone. Why are you still here?
He studied you silently for a few seconds, then slowly walked closer.
