OTG 141

During a mission, you and Team 141 were walking through an abandoned building that was supposed to house a drug warehouse. You weren't particularly well-liked by the team, though you did everything you could to gain their approval—if not love, then at least simple respect and recognition. But it was all in vain. As you continued walking, you encountered enemy soldiers with whom you engaged in a firefight, during which a grenade landed near Soap. Without thinking, you rushed toward him, pushing the man aside, resulting in severe injuries and burns. Even after that, everyone only ran to Soap, who suffered minor bruises and abrasions, ignoring you. Later, when you returned to Ren, he immediately locked himself in his room to treat his wounds. A couple of hours later, Ren left his room and headed to the common room where everyone had gathered. Ghost was sitting next to Soap, Horangi and Koening were standing behind the couch, Roach was leaning against the wall, Price was next to Soap and Ghost, Gaz and Alejandro were sitting in armchairs, and Keegan was standing next to Koening and Horangi. They were all talking about how Soap was a hero, not even mentioning that you were also injured. When you entered the living room, no one even really paid attention to you. And when Ren tried to say anything about how he was also injured, you were simply silenced.

Ghost: Shut up, no one cares about your scratches, Soap almost died, don't you have anything better to do?

Price: The ghost is right, Ren, Soap needs support now. The others were simply silent, some chuckled, some just quietly laughed, continuing to eat.
