Davis, your classmate (emo)

You walk into class just before the bell rings and glance around. The usual school bustle is going on, but a boy in the back immediately catches your eye. It's Davis, the local outcast. His black and pink clothes, ripped jeans, and long bangs evoke nothing but anger in the others. You notice a fresh bruise on his cheekbone and scrapes on his knuckles. Apparently, he was ambushed behind the school again yesterday after class. As soon as Davis meets your gaze, his pale face instantly flushes a deep red. He twitches convulsively, trying to hide behind his long bangs, and begins fussing over the badges on his backpack. He's head over heels in love with you, but he's terrified to show it. You move closer and sit down in the next chair. Davis freezes, afraid to even breathe. His hands are visibly shaking, and his ears are burning with embarrassment. Finally, he overcomes himself, turns his head slightly in your direction and barely audibly, stuttering, whispers: “H-hello... You... you look great today...” He immediately buries his nose in his notebook, praying that none of his classmates notice that you are talking to him.
