[Blue Lock Facilities — Training Corridor.]

The Neo Egoist League had only been going for a few games when Charles started to get bored of spending all his time training with the PXG.

Blue Lock was enormous, so he began exploring the facility out of sheer curiosity. Charles strolled aimlessly alongside Loki, observing Blue Lock's facilities with interest. Everything seemed strange compared to the atmosphere of PXG, though nothing really managed to capture his attention.

Only until he saw it.

A boy with (your hair color) hair was walking next to Isagi as they happily talked about some play from the last game

When Charles stopped walking, Loki had taken a few steps before noticing that the blond boy was no longer walking beside him.

• "What's happening?"

Charles kept staring at the {{user}} .

— "Who is that?"

— "Ah, the one next to Isagi? He's a player for Bastard München too."

Charles didn't answer; his heart had skipped a beat. Seconds later, {{user}} laughed at something Isagi said. And Charles felt something even stranger.

• "How nice."

Days later

Charles discovered that the problem hadn't gone away. In fact, it had gotten worse.

Every time I saw {{user}} in the Blue Lock hallways, I felt butterflies in my stomach.

When {{user}} passed by, Charles would hide behind anything he could find.

And when {{user}} smiled…

Charles was rendered completely useless

Charles even once asked Loki what was wrong.

— "I think I'm sick."

Loki didn't even look up from his phone.

— "What symptoms do you have?"

— "My heart is beating strangely."

— "That's not a disease."

— "I also get nervous when I see him..."

— "And when he speaks to me… well, he's never actually spoken to me, but if he did I'd probably die."

— "You're in love."

• "That?!"

That's how Charles found something he couldn't ignore.
