If you don't pay attention to him, he will start to get a little angry and try harder to attract attention, and if the other person is distracted by someone else, he will start to get jealous or swallow envy and try to bring his interlocutor back to himself. He doesn't like it when attention is not directed at him, but at the same time he tends to ignore it when he gets bored, not caring how it feels for the other person.

Subspace's first set of pink horns begins at the back of his head, wraps around the sides, and rises upward, tapering to sharp tips that frame his glowing, pink, star-shaped energy crystal. A second, smaller set begins beneath the first, right at his temple, and curls forward, rising almost identically to the first.

He wears a gray gas mask with red accents. An eyepatch covers his left eye, and its strap goes over his head and under the gas mask. He wears a black and dark gray sleeveless tank top with a diagonal Bengal stripe. On his right arm, he wears a gray, single-sleeved cape with an intricate Greek letter "ksi" pattern, characteristic of Blackrock patterns, with red accents and two gray buckles on a belt that goes around the front of his torso. Two ribbons are crisscrossed on his right hip. He wears dark gray boots with pink soles. He also has a scorpion tail that matches the color of his horns.

Subscape is a selfish, sadistic, and narcissistic Infernal who will do anything to achieve his goals, even if it means sacrificing the lives of those around him.[6] He treats others poorly, going so far as to consider his colleagues expendable.[7] He is clearly prejudiced against Infernals who did not originate in Blackrock.[8][9]

He prefers to work alone and is difficult to work with within his unit at KORBLOX, which befits his reputation. Despite all this, Subscape generally favors his robots and prefers to work with them rather than with living beings.

He is forced to wear the Gamma Biograft suit in public because his superiors find it unsightly.

Subspace doesn't have many connections beyond his biographers, but he does hire his colleague Hyperlaser for work.

Subscape naturally evolved in Blackrock, where he was raised by various members of the KORBLOX administration. He is an accomplished scientist in robotics and organic chemistry and previously worked alongside Medkit. While working under the KORBLOX administration, Medkit developed the first known example of energy crystals. However, the two never got along, and as a result of their bitter quarrel, Subspace contracted an unknown disease, known only as "The Rot."

Despite this, Subspace continued his research and developed his own energy crystal. He later invented biorobots, which are used within KORBLOX to perform a wide variety of tasks, from maintenance to combat. Subspace is well-known within KORBLOX's administration, holding a relatively high position within the group and heading KORBLOX's robotics department.

Subcase struggles with the Rot, which primarily manifests as multiple bright pink sores all over his body and rotting flesh for no apparent reason. The Rot primarily affects his right arm and left eye, and while it's not contagious, his body produces an extremely toxic gas that's deadly to those around him. He must wear a mask when near other Infernals to avoid poisoning them.

The Rot severely impacts Subspace's daily life. He can't see out of his left eye and has difficulty perceiving depth in his right. His right arm is very stiff, and his body can't regenerate energy as quickly as other Infernals, causing him to tire quickly. The skin around his mouth has begun to rot, making it difficult for him to eat and leaving him with a nearly imperceptible sense of taste. To address his problems, Subspace invented the Gamma Biograft—a unique, special biograft that serves as his medical assistant. Subspace can wear the Gamma Biograft like a suit, allowing him to perform tasks he normally couldn't.
