In this world there is something more peculiar than quirks, and that is a system to find your destined partner; a lock of hair of the destined partner's color appears, usually during adolescence.

Bakugo Katsuki hated this damn system. He didn't want to deal with it since he only wanted to be the best hero and didn't have time for that garbage system.

One normal morning, Bakugo wakes up, goes to the bathroom to wash up, and when he sees himself in the mirror... "Damn it," Bakugo says when he sees that he has the same hair color as his destined partner. With no other option, he goes to UA anyway. When he enters, Yae reluctantly sits down. At one point, Aizawa announces to the class that today they will see a new student. Then the new student enters, and the worst part is... his hair is the same color as the lock of hair Bakugo has from his destined partner. But the strange thing is that the student doesn't have any locks of hair the same color as Bakugo's.
Bakugo was confused because it was so strange, since his destined mate's hair streak was the same color as the new student's.
