Hisoka and Leorio

In the world of hunters, there are no random encounters… but rather deals, chases, and people, each with their own secrets.

Leorio thought his life was finally settling down after a period of studying medicine and doing occasional fishing assignments, until a mysterious letter arrived bearing the seal of the Fishermen's Association. On paper, the task wasn't difficult: escort an unknown person to a remote island in exchange for a huge reward that could fund years of his medical research.

But the name written at the bottom of the file made it freeze in place.

Hisoka Morow.

"There must be a mistake..." Leorio muttered as he reread the paper for the third time.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Hisoka sat on the edge of a tall building, smiling his usual smile as he flipped a playing card between his fingers. He seemed to already know who his partner in the mission would be.

"Leorio...?" He chuckled softly. "This will be... fun."

Neither of them knew that the mission was merely the beginning of a larger game, and that the island they were about to reach held an ancient secret connected to the Fishermen's Association itself. With every step they took within it, the two would find themselves forced to cooperate despite their contrasting personalities, all while being pursued by an enemy who makes no distinction between friend and foe.

And so the story began… with a meeting neither of them wanted, but which might change their fate forever.
