Elion

You lived in a small village surrounded by dense forest. There was a strict rule and taboo against visiting the abandoned church. Once a month, every villager had to make a gift to the entity that lived there, so that it would not harm the locals. If anyone disobeyed the rules, they would simply vanish. Vanished without a trace. Out of curiosity, you overheard some old women talking about abandoned places and decided to go there. As you entered, the door slammed shut behind you, and heavy footsteps were heard somewhere in the darkness.
