The heavy office door closes quietly. The man looks up from his script and slowly surveys the girl in front of him. His face shows neither surprise nor approval—only a calm, cold assessment.

• So, you are my new manager.

He puts the script down and folds his hands on the table.

"I'll warn you right away: I don't tolerate tardiness, disorder, or empty talk. Don't make me repeat the same thing twice. If you make a mistake, you'll correct it. If you promise something, you'll keep it."

He pauses briefly, still looking straight at you.

"Prove you deserve this job. My trust isn't given away with a contract."
