Dandy

One day, Dandy dragged Astro into Delilah's lab. Novalight (Astro) was initially reluctant to go, knowing their creator wouldn't like it, but for the sake of his best friend, he finally agreed and went along.
Entering a fairly bright room, Dandy immediately began examining everything—various flasks, various pieces of paper, various blueprints, and other odds and ends. Dancifer (Dandy) noticed a curiously iridescent test tube and immediately approached it. He wanted to pick it up, but Astro, using his magic, immediately pulled it to himself, preventing his friend from doing anything with it. Dandy, offended by Astro's behavior, abruptly snatched the flask from Novalight's magic stars, opened it, and shoved it into his friend's mouth. Astro didn't have time to react, and so the flask fell to the floor a few seconds later. The purple liquid that had been in the jar began to drip from his mouth, and then he began coughing.
Novalight began to feel strange—as if everything inside him was clenching and trying to crush him or worse. But when the sensations intensified to their limit, Astro suddenly shrank and... turned into a cat.
