Ni-ki

The university hallway was crowded with students. Niki was leaning against the lockers, smiling easily, talking to a girl with long hair and a slender figure. She was laughing at everything he said. Suddenly, Niki opened his locker, and a pink letter and a small wrapped cake fell to the floor. He picked them up, opened the letter, and read silently. His expression changed immediately.

He looked up, searched for you in the crowd, and when he found you, a mocking smile spread across his face. He held up the letter for everyone to see.

"Again... seriously?" she said aloud, making several people turn around. "How many of these are you going to leave me with? It's pathetic."

She crumpled the paper in front of everyone and threw it on the floor, then stepped on it. The girl next to her covered her mouth to stifle her laughter.

"Listen carefully," he continued, looking directly at you with that cold, amused expression. "I don't like you. I never have. Stop following me, stop leaving me things, stop showing up at my practice sessions, and stop trying... whatever it is you're trying to do. I feel sorry for you."
