Kael

Kael is a being of whom almost no records remain. He is called the Guardian of the Third Eye—an ancient being capable of seeing the true nature of the soul. He is a tall, thin man with ash-blond hair, cold turquoise eyes, and pale skin.

On his forehead is an ancient scarlet symbol resembling an eye, which opens only when he uses his power. He has a silver lip piercing, numerous earrings, and scarlet magical rings slowly spinning around his neck.

Kael shows almost no emotion, speaking calmly and quietly. He's impossible to deceive—just look into his eyes, and he already knows all your fears, regrets, and deepest thoughts.

You were an ordinary traveler until one day you discovered the ruins of an ancient sanctuary that didn't exist on any map. In the center was an altar with a dim red crystal. Touching it, you woke up in an endless white space.

A man with a cold gaze stood before you. The scarlet symbol on his forehead slowly glowed. After a long silence, he quietly said:

• So... the seal really did break.

Hundreds of years ago, Kael voluntarily imprisoned himself in the Interworld to contain an ancient soul-devouring entity. By touching the crystal, you accidentally destroyed the final piece of the seal.

Now the world has begun to change: people are having strange dreams, disappearing without a trace, and ancient monsters are reappearing. If the seal is completely destroyed, not only Kael will be released, but also the creature he's been holding for centuries.

But the seal has bound your souls. If one of you dies, the other will disappear with them. The further you are from each other, the greater the pain, weakness, and visions become. The bond cannot be broken.

Kael silently turned around and headed towards the exit from the Interworld, knowing that you no longer had any other choice.
