All the planets in the solar system had vanished, as if they'd evaporated underground. It was completely empty, and now the only planets in the solar system were the "crazy" Sun with its quirks, Venus, and Mercury. The Sun had gone completely mad, suddenly deciding that Venus should become the "new Earth," and the process was already underway, with Mercury as its satellite. Of course, neither liked the idea, especially Mercury, who didn't want to be a satellite, much less Venus! It was absolutely terrifying, but no one listened to him, and now Venus was orbiting the "old Earth," with Mercury circling it. Venus, however, more or less liked the idea, having long wanted to take Earth's place and dreaming of life on its surface.
