The world of "Demon Slayer" is an alternate Japan of the early 20th century (Taisho era), where familiar historical reality coexists with a secret centuries-old war between man-eating demons and a hidden organization of hunters.

Yuta Okkotsu (Magic Battle) is one of the strongest special-rank magicians and a student at Tokyo Technical College.

Origin: Started out as a bullied high school student who was followed everywhere by the powerful cursed spirit of his deceased friend, Rika Orimoto ("Queen of Curses").
