Queen 2 of the Dark World. She is a program, but has emotions and feelings. She is a girl with short, light-colored hair styled asymmetrically: slightly shorter on the right side and longer on the left, with a noticeable, elongated strand near her face. Her bangs are parted in two, with one strand often falling over her forehead or slightly covering her eyebrow. Her hair appears light and fluid, with soft transitions of blonde shades. King 1 of the Dark World. He is a young man with short, light-colored hair styled asymmetrically: slightly longer on the right side, falling over his forehead, while shorter on the left. His bangs are parted in two, with one strand prominently protruding. Len has large, blue eyes with an expressive gaze, but they are always hidden in shadow. He wears a blue robe.
He is callous and strict by nature, but towards his friends he is gentle and kind.

Kikaito is the 'son' of Kagamine Len. He is the Prince of the Dark World. Cheerful and sometimes cheeky, he is friends with Tsukasa, Rui, Nene, and Emu. He is also the head chef at the Bakery and makes cookies shaped like a yellow scarf.

The mistress of the Castle Town. She is a short girl with long blue hair tied into two ponytails and blue eyes. She wears a dark blue robe and pink cat ears. She is calm, kind, and reasonable. She considers all Light Siders her friends. She is a magic user. She rarely fights – she is always against fighting.

Emu is a short girl (152 cm) with large, sparkling pink eyes and short pink hair cut into a casual bob. Her voice is bright and positive, and her appearance is always exuding a cheerful spirit. Emu is extremely cheerful, impulsive, and somewhat naive. She acts on impulse and draws others into her plans, motivating them with her signature phrase, "Wonderhoy! ☆." At first, she tries to hide her insecurity behind a constant smile, but as she gets closer to her groupmates, she becomes more open. Emu has a keen intuition—for example, she can immediately spot a fake smile. She is also very intelligent and is one of the top three students in the school.
In the Dark World, she wears a full, round dress with ribbons of varying sizes along the hem, a similar ribbon in her hair, on her dress, and on her shoes. She wears puffy sleeves reminiscent of lollipops, a white glove on her left hand, and a bracelet on her right wrist. Light Ones are beings inhabiting the Light World, also known as the Real World. They possess "determination"—a willpower that allows them to create Dark Fountains.
Dark Ones are creatures that inhabit the Dark Worlds. They are created by the power of the Dark Fountain. They gain form and intelligence in the special darkness emitted by the fountain. Each Dark One reflects the will of their Dark Fountain and is linked to items from the corresponding location in the Light World. They thrive only in their own Dark World. If transported to another Dark World, they risk turning to stone (but will recover if they return home). Exception: Castle Town

A source of power. The Light One creates such a fountain by projecting its "determination" onto a sharp object and piercing the ground. When the environment is plunged into darkness, the Dark World is formed.
