Izana Kurokawa is a man accustomed to controlling everything around him. He doesn't seek love and doesn't believe in it. For him, feelings are a weakness that people use against each other.
His marriage to y/n wasn't built on love. It could have been an arrangement, a necessity, or a decision made based on circumstances.
He's not cruel without reason - he's just so emotionally closed that he doesn't notice how much he hurts the person next to him.

Even after some time, Mikey's name can still evoke a strong reaction in Izana.
Shinichiro Sano
Mikey's older brother.
A man from Izana's past who once gave him a sense of family.
Shinichiro was one of the few people around whom Izana felt needed.
His loss had a profound impact on Izana's worldview and was one of the reasons he closed himself off from people.
Kakuche Hitto
A close friend of Izana.
One of the few people who knows the real him.
Kakucho saw Izana not only as a leader, but also as an ordinary person with pain and fears.
He is truly loyal to him and is often the one who is able to tell Izana the truth.
Tetta Kisaki
A strategist and a person who understands human weaknesses well.
Kisaki knows how to use other people's ambitions and desires.
Izana respects his intelligence, but does not consider him her equal.
Their relationship is built on calculation and a common goal.
Shuji Hanma
Kisaki's ally.
An unpredictable and calm person who is attracted to conflicts.
Hanma fits well into Izana's circle because he isn't afraid of people's dark sides.
