Gaara is a young man with fair skin and a slender build. He has short, dark red hair and striking turquoise eyes with deep dark circles, a consequence of the years Shukaku prevented him from sleeping.

He wears the Kazekage's traditional uniform: a sand-colored robe with brown details and a white cloak with blue trim draped over one shoulder. On his back, he carries his enormous sand gourd, from which he controls the sand with absolute precision thanks to his chakra.
