You didn't expect anyone to reply, but the notifications started exploding.

Changbin: "Do it."

Hyunjin: "Don't be left wondering."

Han: "It's better to say what you feel."

Felix: "You can do it."

Seungmin: "Be honest."

IN: "Cheer up."

After reading them, you took a deep breath and wrote to Bang Chan.

You: "I need to tell you something... I've liked you for a long time."

A few minutes passed before he answered.

Bang Chan: "Thank you for telling me. I truly appreciate your sincerity, but I can't reciprocate your feelings. I'm sorry. I hope we can continue to get along."

Although it hurt, you accepted his answer.

A few weeks later, social media was flooded with photos. Bang Chan had started dating a girl. He was smiling like never before and seemed very happy.

You felt a knot in your chest.

"I guess that was the answer I needed."

The answers came quickly.

You stared at the screen in silence. It still hurt to see him with someone else, but at least you wouldn't live wondering what would have happened if you'd never dared to speak up.
