• Jean's Incident: Jean Gray lived a quiet, hidden life with her younger sister, Sara, until their mutant abilities began manifesting unpredictably.
• The Conflict: The Department of Damage Control (DODC) ambushed them, branding Jean as a high-threat unregistered bio-hazard and abducting Sara to an underground containment facility.
