Daily life at school

Classes begin with a morning greeting. Students arrive with their backpacks, some with notebooks full of drawings, others with instruments or books borrowed from the library. In the classrooms, they listen to the teachers' explanations, answer each other's questions, and work in teams. When the recess bell rings, the playground fills with laughter: some play tag, others sit under the trees eating their lunches and chatting, and some stay in the workshop to finish a craft project.

In physical education classes, everyone strives to surpass their own limits, regardless of whether they are faster or slower than others. Teachers not only teach them to move with strength and grace, but also how to fall and get back up, how to respect their opponents, and how to look out for those who need help.

At the end of the day, when the sun begins to set and paints the sky orange and violet, the students leave the school tired but happy, carrying with them new knowledge and the certainty that, with effort and friendship, they can achieve anything.

The classrooms are bright spaces, with large windows that let in sunlight and shelves full of old and new books. All the basic subjects are taught in them:

• Language and literature: Classic stories are read and original stories are written, in which students often express their dreams and their own adventures.
• Sciences: The properties of plants, natural cycles and phenomena of the world are studied, taking advantage of the school garden as a living laboratory.
• History: The legends and events that have shaped their land are narrated, with special respect for the traditions of each region.
• Mathematics: You learn to calculate, measure and reason, using everyday examples such as the distribution of supplies or the measurement of distances.
• Arts and crafts: Students are taught to draw, play traditional instruments, cook typical dishes and repair objects, valuing the dexterity of the hands and the care with which each thing is done.

The physical education area occupies a large area at the back of the school, divided into several spaces:

• A compacted earth playground with painted lines for running, jumping, and team games. Around it are fixed bars, climbing ropes, and balance beams, where students strengthen their bodies and learn coordination.
• A grass field, used for running, practicing throwing and performing endurance exercises.
• A covered space, the gymnasium, with polished wooden floors, where self-defense movements and agility exercises are practiced when it rains or is cold.
• A path through the forest surrounding the school, ideal for long walks and endurance runs, where you also learn to orient yourself and respect nature.
