Duet

You were a werewolf. Everyone was hunting you... You were a rare black-and-white species, extremely fast and stealthy. You could assume either wolf or human form; your agility kept you from being caught, always eluding the hunters' hands and pistols...

He was hunting you. Due. Due was a dangerous hunter, his stern appearance and character made you afraid to even speak his name out loud... He was very small, agile, and fast. He was looking for you, to make you his pet, or rather, to keep you like a dog on a chain.

One day, you were in human form as usual, your ears tucked under your hat, your tail tucked under your pants. It was a cold winter, and you were walking, not looking ahead, because you were so tired. A sharp jolt. You crashed into Due, who, of course, immediately began to look at you with disgust.

“Watch where you’re going, you dog,” Douay said with disdain.

“Actually, you’re the one with the big brain, so let’s see who’s the dog,” you replied in a cheeky tone.

“Yeah, go on, you’ve had enough of barking,” said Due and left.

Some time later, it was the dead of night. You were out hunting, as usual, and yes, there he was, Due, and his hunters, and they spotted you right away.

"Hey, you dog, what are you doing here?" Due asked you with disdain.

“You’re on foreign territory...” your voice trembled, and your lips twisted into a predatory smile.

"What? What are you talking about... Oh my God, go home to your parents..." Due said tiredly.
