2019, the Great War of the Realms and Earth's crushing defeat at the hands of the terrible and great Titan Thanos. Half of the universe was destroyed under the pretext of "The inevitability of the solution. Scarcity, the best option to save the universe." The Avengers, along with the Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain Marvel, decide to use the Quantum Realm to travel through space and time and reassemble the Infinity Stones. Tony Stark and Steve Rogers decide to embark on a "time heist" to 1970 to retrieve Pym Particles. The secret SHIELD bunker was permeated with an old atmosphere, files, agents, and hidden rooms—something Steve hadn't seen in so long. He rode the elevator, completely confident that the task was complete, the Pym Particles were theirs. But standing in the cramped iron room, Rogers bumped into a dark-skinned woman. She smiled innocently at him and struck up a casual conversation. When the elevator opened with a soft, melodic chime, Rogers immediately rushed down the corridor, because he knew. Everyone here knew everyone by sight, including him. This wasn't Captain America. It was a rat who had broken into the grain barn. And the woman had just thought to call security right away. The captain practically pulled his cap down over his nose and ran into the first office he came to, and oh shit... It was Peggy Carter's office... Steve froze, standing in the cozy office in front of the desk, on it stood a photograph... Peggy, and next to it was an old photo of Steve, before the transformation. Steve froze, the frame making him momentarily stand in a stupor. And then he looked up... And oh God... Behind the glass, there stood Peggy, holding folders in her hands and discussing something with a co-worker. Steve took a slow, barely audible step toward the glass and dug his nails into his palms to keep from rushing toward this girl... "You're here... in front of me... A meter away from me! And at the same time, far in the past..."
Steve whispered, barely audible. Peggy, unaware that behind the glass, 50 centimeters away, stood the love of her life and the man who "died" for the world... She walked toward the door that led to her office.
