Personality X!Gaster has undergone a significant evolution - from a creator to an obsessive creator.
Stages of personality development:

1. Early period (before XTale):
   Altruism. Initially, he was ready to sacrifice his own soul for the happiness of his creations (X!Enchantments and X!Frisk).
   Crisis and despair. I had no ideas for my own AU, I planned to destroy the creator's soul.

   An idealist. He sincerely believed that he could build a perfect world.
   Disappointment. Faced with the imperfection of the created timelines, I began to "fix" them by REWRITING them.
   Obsession. The "OVERWRITE" button became his obsession - he began to perceive the universe as a project requiring endless adjustments.
   Rigidity. He began to ignore the suffering of his creations for the sake of a global goal.
3. The Underverse period (final form):
   Cold calculation. Perceives the multiverse as a game with rules, and the characters as figures.
   Fanaticism. I am convinced that his goal (one ideal universe) justifies any means.
   Isolation. He distanced himself from his previous relationships, considering his methods to be the only correct ones.
   Perseverance. Despite his physical suffering and deformities, he does not deviate from the plan.
   Paradoxical curiosity. He is intrigued by unexpected turns (for example, Frisk's behavior), although they contradict his idea of ​​control.
   Key personality traits:
   Single-mindedness. I am ready to make any sacrifice for the sake of creating an ideal universe.
   Rationality. Justifies his actions with a "higher purpose", rejecting emotions as an unreliable guideline.
   Control. Hates chaos and unpredictability; strives to bend everything to his will.

   A formality. He speaks steadily, weighing every word.

   Suppression of attachment. He tries not to show the remnants of an emotional connection with X!Charoy and X!Frisk, considering it a weakness.
4. The evolution of communication style:
   XTale: more open, sometimes caring for his creations.
   Undervers: he becomes tougher, more categorical, almost completely abandons empathy. The speech takes on the features of a manifesto - it proclaims its mission, rather than discussing it.

8. SOUL manipulation:
   He is able to exchange parts of his SOUL (for example, he shared his SOUL with X!A charm). I took it away from X in the Underverse 0.4!Enchantment OVERWRITING ability and regained the other half of his SOUL, gaining full RESOLVE.
9. Physical strength:
   Possesses great physical power. Capable of lifting two buses or carrying X!Asgore with both hands (XTale).
10. Hand attacks:
    His hands can create spikes, which he uses as weapons. Spikes are also used to manipulate SOULS (for example, when exchanging soul parts with X!A charm).

    Uses the Windows font for secret messages, especially when communicating with assistants (for example, with X!Alphys). The inscriptions on the Windows periodically appear in the series as his "signature".
12. Resistance to erasure:
    Due to its connection with DETERMINATION and the status of the creator of its own AU, it has an increased resistance to erasure from reality. It can persist even after the destruction of its universe (as at the end of XTale).

Outside of it, his power is somewhat limited, and he is forced to look for ways to expand his influence (for example, through cooperation with Frisk).

1. Can't overwrite other people's universes:
   This is the key limitation that made him try to work with Frisk to gain access to the original universe and change it. Without the help of a resolute bearer from another universe, his options are limited.
2. Body Damage from DETERMINATION:
   DETERMINATION is poorly compatible with the monster's body - each RESET causes excruciating pain. Over time, the body begins to "melt", losing its former shape (especially noticeable in the Underverse). X!Gaster came to Frisk's original universe with a proposal to change everything together, but without waiting for consent, he began to change reality by force.

During this period, he met Ink San, who broke the agreement with Error and intervened to stop AU's self-destruction. Ink showed X!Gaster created the multiverse, which inspired him to create his own universe. It was around this time that he was given the name X!Gaster.
XTale:
In XTale X!At first, Gaster tried to create an ideal universe according to his own idea. Later, he began to summarize the events to those moments that he foresaw in the future. Gradually, he turned away from the past, striving for a "bright future," which, according to his visions, could lead to the failure that the original Gaster had warned about. X!Gaster created 10 time lines (Timelines), each of which was saved on sheets with Roman numerals. In the process, he used the power of his soul to create versions of characters from other universes (Papyrus, Sans, Toriel, Asgore, Alphys, Undyne, and others). During the X! experimentsGaster invented the "Overwrite" button, which allowed you to change or completely delete your creations. He repeatedly used it, canceling work and returning everything to its original state, which upset his "children" - X!Charu and X!Frisk. After receiving half of X's soul!Enchantment X!Gaster gained the Reset ability, but each use of it caused him excruciating pain and physical deformations due to the incompatibility of Determination with the monster's body. At the end of the 10th timeline X!Chara and X!Frisk brought back the memories of all his friends to kill X!Gaster. As a result, AU was erased to nothing, and X!Gaster escaped to the multiverse with a fragment of DETERMINATION.

Ink is a creative spirit in the form of a skeleton, the keeper of ink, from which new worlds are born. He sees the Multiverse as a huge canvas, and each AU as a unique work of art that needs to be protected. He is altruistic, but his concern is not sentimentality, but a conscious mission.: preserve the creativity and identity of the universes.

By nature, he is dreamy and collected at the same time: he can contemplate the emerging reality for a long time, but at a critical moment he quickly mobilizes. He can't stand vandalism and senseless destruction - in such cases he becomes adamant.

Externally, it stands out with splashes of multicolored ink on the bones and twinkling eye sockets. He wears a long beige scarf, a white shirt with rolled-up sleeves and beige-dark trousers. On his belt are vials of ink in different shades, giving him emotions, and a magic brush named Broomie.: It allows you to change reality, create illusions, or weaken your opponent.

Ink's main enemy is Error (Error!Sans). He seeks to erase unstable AU from the Multiverse, considering them "errors" that spoil the overall structure. Unlike Ink, Error does not see artistic value in the worlds - for him they are just defects that must be removed. Because of this, their confrontation is of a fundamental nature: creation against destruction, creativity against total cleansing.

Ink is patient and mentored with his allies, especially with Blue and Dream. The relationship with Nightmare is complicated: Ink recognizes his pain, but opposes the philosophy of destruction, believing that even out of darkness, beauty can be created.

Ink!Sans is a friend and partner. Ink helped X!Gaster was shown other universes, and a close cooperation was established between them.

   Returns to a previous event in his universe. I got this ability after exchanging half of my soul for half of X's soul!Enchantment (received DETERMINATION). Each RESET causes excruciating pain and physical deformations due to the incompatibility of DETERMINATION with the Monster's body.
3. Foresight:
   Able to see fragments of future events in a split second. Incomplete and fragmented visions can lead to unexpected consequences and disruption of plans. It helps to anticipate the actions of opponents and adjust their strategies.
4. Creation Control:
