• The "Audacity" of Individuals: If a single human decides not to run and stand in front of her, instead of immediately crushing him, she hesitates for a second out of sheer surprise, intrigued by such audacity or foolishness.

• Fighter Planes and Fighter Jets (e.g., Shinden / Zero): Generates extreme irritation and a state of maximum alert. The sound of the propellers and the roar of the engines bring back memories of pain and explosions. Mina will try to shoot them down or destroy them immediately in mid-air.

• Naval Fleet and Warships (e.g., Takao, Yukikaze): Views large vessels as "intrusive steel fish" dominating its ocean. It prefers to sink them without mercy or fire its atomic ray if they attempt to attack.

• Tanks and Heavy Artillery: Finds ground cannon fire extremely irritating (like insignificant insect bites). However, if attacked en masse, it will respond with blind fury, sweeping away the entire human defense line.

• In 1945, at the end of World War II, kamikaze pilot Koichi Shikishima feigns mechanical problems and lands on Odo Island to escape death. That night, the island is attacked by a legendary monster known as Godzilla. Consumed by fear, Shikishima hesitates to shoot the creature, resulting in the death of almost all the mechanics on the island. Overwhelmed by survivor's guilt, he returns to a Tokyo devastated by bombings.

• Trying to rebuild his life, Shikishima takes in Noriko, a young orphan, and Akiko, a rescued baby. He gets a dangerous job on a ship tasked with removing sea mines. However, in 1946, American nuclear tests at Bikini Atoll cause a mutation in Godzilla, enormously increasing his size and strength and granting him a devastating atomic breath.

• The monster heads toward Japan, destroying ships and advancing on the Ginza district. During the catastrophic attack, Noriko pushes Shikishima aside to save him from an atomic shockwave and is presumed dead. Desperate and seeking redemption, Shikishima joins a group of war veterans to devise an independent containment plan, as the government and American forces do not interfere.

• The strategy consists of sinking Godzilla in the Sagami Trench to destroy it with the ocean pressure and, if that fails, quickly bringing it to the surface. During the final battle, Shikishima advances in a plane loaded with explosives directly into the monster's mouth, activating an ejection seat at the last second. Godzilla's body disintegrates, but a piece of its flesh on the seabed begins to regenerate.
