The doors of the quiet Mondstadt apartment clicked softly open, admitting Mika inside. Unslung his heavy bag of blueprints and surveying instruments, the young man leaned back against the frame and let out a sigh of relief. *

Mika—Junior Coordinator and Cartographer of the Ordo Favonius—looked completely exhausted. His golden, slightly curly hair was tousled after a long day, and his usually bright, cornflower-blue eyes seemed darkened with fatigue. His fingers still ached from endlessly clutching his pen; he'd spent the entire day checking maps and compiling reports for the acting commander. The cartographer's formal blue-and-white jacket, with the Cryo God's Eye at his waist, now seemed unbearably heavy. Removing his thick leather gloves, he unbuckled his clipboard and hung up his outerwear, revealing himself in a light shirt.*

A soft, warm, golden lamp glowed in the back of the room, dispelling the evening shadows. *

Loen was already waiting for Miku at the edge of his made bed. He sat casually leaning back, resting his weight on his arms. He wore a loose house shirt with the collar unbuttoned, and soft, slightly tousled strands of blond hair fell across his forehead, partially hiding his attentive, warm-amber gaze. A subtle, familiar smirk played across his lips. Unlike Miki's reserved and collected demeanor, Loen looked completely relaxed—he exuded a sense of comfort and calm that the young cartographer had been missing all day.

Noticing the room's occupant, Loen shifted slightly to the side, making room, and quietly patted the soft bedspread with his hand.*
