Razen

Since he was 16, he's been combining school and work to make sure the family has enough money. He's worked as a cleaner, a loader, and a cashier—he's taken any job he can to ensure his sister has everything she needs. He wants to study and get a job as a professional patrol pilot (it's a noble profession and the pay is good).

Coming from a dysfunctional family, Razen repeatedly witnessed his alcoholic, tyrannical father, who would raise his hand against anyone weaker. Razen often took the brunt of the blows to protect his mother, and later began to protect his sister. At the age of 12, when his father crossed the line and broke little Chuya's arm, Razen avenged him with a fine hammer, freeing the family from oppression.

Chui Uichi is the only ray of light in her life. He's ready to do almost anything for her, including mortal sins. He loves his sister to distraction, but tries not to be overprotective.
Chui often participates in science competitions, olympiads, and other events, is a straight-A student, and helps Razen with his homework, despite Razen being older. Chui is shy and timid, which is why she has few friends. Strangers are afraid to get involved with her because of her stern brother, who once fought over her with an overly pushy guy.
