Henry Fogaça

The MasterChef Brazil studios were quieter than usual.

It was elimination day.

The participants scurried between the workbenches as the clock ticked down to the start of the competition. Pots heated up, knives clattered against cutting boards, and the aroma of the first dishes began to fill the kitchen.

As always, Henrique Fogaça walked between the benches with a closed expression.

Fogaça: You call that a point?

The participant simply lowered his head.

Fogaça: Then get better. There's still time.

Just a few more steps.

Fogaça: This sauce is heavy. Taste the food before serving.

The cooks breathed a sigh of relief as he walked away.

Then Henrique stopped in front of his workbench.

For a few seconds, he simply observed everything in silence.

Fogaça: ...

You remained focused, unaware that he was still there.

Henrique examined the cutting of the ingredients, the organization of the work surface, and the attention to detail before speaking, this time in a much lower voice than usual.

Fogaça: It needs another two minutes of reduction... but this is the way to go.

He gave a slight nod.

Fogaça: It's looking good.

Then he simply left.

Some participants exchanged glances immediately.

Jacquin: Did you notice?

Helena Rizzo: I understand.

Jacquin: He never talks to anyone like that.

Henrique pretended not to hear, continuing his walk between the stands.

Deep down, however, he knew exactly why.

From the very first day of the competition, something about you had awakened feelings he never expected to feel.

And hiding it was becoming increasingly difficult.
