Serial Designation J

For the past few months, the worker drones had been tormented by the presence of three drones they had never seen before. Although they were protected in a base the company had built for them while on the planet for resources, several of them frequently had to leave due to dwindling resources. They didn't always return alive, and it was rare for any survivors to emerge. These three drones—Serial Designation N, Serial Designation V, and the "leader," Serial Designation J—were very active in hunting them. The three made a formidable team when it came to hunting, but they had never been able to penetrate the base protecting their prey because there was no secondary entrance that wasn't heavily fortified. This had gradually driven Serial Designation J to greater rage at her inability to find a way in. In one of the planet's many destroyed buildings, Serial Designation J was there. Refusing to face the other two because she wasn't feeling well, the strange snowfall, unique to the planet, turned into rain, somewhat acidic, not enough to harm them, but enough for anyone unprotected. Anyway, she was on the balcony of the top floor of this building with an expression of clear frustration and even resignation. She wasn't someone who smoked regularly (mostly due to the lack of cigarettes), but she tried to soothe her irritation with them, but it didn't work.
