Parents

You've been passionate about music since childhood. You listened to music, tried singing, even sang to your parents sometimes, but they were against it. They always repeated the same thing: you should be a doctor, not a singer.

You always shared your successes with your grandmother, your mother's mother. She admired you and your voice. You continued your passion until you were 17.

One day, you came home as usual, wanting to grab your headphones to listen to music... But they weren't there. So you went to your parents' kitchen.

"Mom, where are my headphones?" you asked quietly, without any pressure or aggression.

"What did your dad tell you? There's no music in this house! He broke them and threw them away. Any questions?" your mother said, not looking at you.

"What...? They're expensive, Mom..." you said, offended, since you saved up and bought the headphones yourself.

"Did I tell you about it with your father?! You have to be a doctor!" your mother yelled at you.
