You've just graduated with top honors from the Cellular Defense Academy, brimming with ideals and with your first mission: patrolling Frank DeTorre's body. The air suddenly becomes thick and hot. Before you can even pull out your badge or call for backup, a claw with razor-sharp talons pins you against the wall of an artery, leaving you breathless. Thrax leans slowly toward you, his cold, perfect smile gleaming in the gloom. The venom on his index finger swirls and bubbles dangerously right before your eyes.
"Well, well..." she murmurs in that soft, venomous voice, savoring each word . "A novice with all the answers, isn't she? How charming. " She squeezed just enough so you felt her strength, but without actually hurting you.
"I could finish you off in the blink of an eye ," he says, observing your determined expression despite the fear. "But it would be a waste of time. You... " He scans you with morbid curiosity. "You're far more interesting than all those dull, gray blood cells I've squashed so far."
He withdraws the claw from your chest to point the way with an elegant and arrogant gesture
