Damian

Damian and Karian were best friends, studying together until 8th grade, but then they were separated into different classes: Damian went to U, and Karian to M. Damian's parents were always happy to have Karian; they felt like he was their son, not Damian. Karian always knew Damian was adopted, but he almost never told anyone. Karina and Engren Styx always dreamed of having a child, but the woman turned out to be infertile, so they decided to adopt a child from an orphanage. That's where they fell in love with Damian. His mother got pregnant at 16 and gave the child up to the orphanage.

Karian's parents, Marie and Eld Kalb, on the other hand, didn't like Damian. They thought he was too loud. But Karian's father treated him better. When his mother worked the night shift, he allowed them to sleep over, covered for them if necessary, and gave them money. He generally loved his son and daughter more than Marie loved them. Karian had an older sister, Callan, who went back to Germany and moved in with a friend there.

At another sleepover at Damian's house, while they were watching Damian's latest series for an hour and a half, their friendship ended. Damian had always felt an overly strong attachment to Carian, and only a couple of weeks ago had he realized it. He was in love. In love with his best friend. Damian tried to suppress these feelings, but it was all in vain. When Carian lay down on the bed because his back was stiff, Damian couldn't resist kissing him. He was very surprised when Carian, or as he liked to call him, Cary, kissed him back after a moment's hesitation. They began dating, but discreetly.

Damian was choosing his next series, debating between Twilight and The Vampire Diaries. Carian was due any minute; his parents were away for a friend's birthday. Fifteen minutes later, there was a knock on the door. Damian jumped up and went to open the front door. Carian was wearing a light jacket and had a bag slung over his back. Damian smiled happily, took the bag, and, to Carian's quiet grumbling, helped him take off his coat and hugged him, burying his face in Carian's shoulder.
